I am a person of mathematical thinking, so lets apply to digits and take a simple example. One of members above has the very same common feature to all his accounts. I.e., average monthly profit 20% and DD rate 30%, or something about it. His different account have different successes, but proportion of profit to DD remains approximately like this. Now let's look at my accounts, you can see average 75% monthly profit and 30% dd. Well, how can I decrease my DD rate? I can cut down sizing. For example, decrease volumes 5 times. I.e. where I am used to enter the market with 1 lot, I will enter the market with 0.2 lot. What will we get then? Monthly profit will make up approximately 15%. DD about 6%. If the guy I talked about previously tries to achieve my successes and increases sizing 5 times than he trades now, what will happen then? You see, Forex market is risky. However, risk makes up for itself with profit. So if this profit makes only 10% monthly under 15% DD, why to trade Forex then? There are plenty other variants how to earn these monthly 10% with less risks. In addition, small profitability combined with low DD rate can also bear severely high danger with such situations as with CHF in early 2015 or with GBP in late June last year. All what was traded during a year can be blown away in just one day. So respectively, if you make 10% per month, with taking DD to consideration, one year can be required to earn initial deposit. So such trading is completely senseless. I agree that low volume trading is good when you educate how to trade. But when you trade professionally and offer your services to others for money, having about 10% profit per month with DD ~ 15% it is just the same as to masturbate and not cum.
