Thank you! I'm not participating either, it is suspicius to require all these documents in order to verify common DEMO ACCOUNT. For me that requirements are much excessive, you never know what will hapen with personal details afterward. This approach presented by broker does not raise my trust. People I suggest to consider is it worth.

Just want to say I like the fact they take your ID upfront to see if your legit and so we can't use more then one account. When you sign up for a real account registration you also have to submit I'd and who's to say there isn't a problem with that? The prize money is real so what's the problem?

What a freaking mess!!! Tons of unhappy traders around here, I would be one of them if I would actually care a bit. From a marketing perspective asking for all the documentation as if you were opening a REAL account is a dumb-dumb move, one that would not bring any real business to FX CHOICE. (note to self, DELETE fx choce mt4 patform after posting)

Already pages and pages of discussion about the account verification requirement on this thread for a week, and we still have dozens of idiots on here after the contest starts wondering why they can't trade. And then they are shocked when they learn about the verification stuff. Seriously people? You call yourselves traders? You think you have any chance in the forex world when you can't even read a simple list of rules? At least a few of them were able to scrape up enough intelligence to NOT send in their personal documents.
I thought we had hit the bottom of the barrel with the last contest from Squared....I was wrong.
But as @JacoAF mentioned, it is nice to see that most of the people who registered seemingly didn't fall for the document verification BS and are not participating.

Everything you say is true .... your thoughts on this contest is also becoming impossible to trade my MT4 platform of this broker has continually problems .... I do not think the best way to make a contest

I, thankfully, have opted not to take part in this circus last week already. It was with great curiosity, and amusement, that I followed the events so far today. The confusion among everybody over the unusual "account verification" rule of this contest have basically turned this contest into a HUGE mess!
Do yourselves a favour. Go click on all "All competitors" in the "Top 10" tab of the competition page. Then go and count the amount of traders that are actually posting a profit so far (I just counted around 140). Next you have to scroll to the last page and scroll backwards to count the traders that already have blown their accounts or are in a negative balance (I counted around 250 so far).
So lets less than 400 (140 + 250 = 390 rounded to 400) of the 3275 registered traders are currently actually able to trade, expressed as a percentage is 12.2% - again we will round this number to 12%.
This means that only around 12% of all registered traders in this contest is currently participating in the contest. The remaining 88% of all traders have either opted to not take part in this contest (like myself) because of the "account verification" rule, or are not able to trade due to the "account disabled" issue, again as a result of the "account verification" rule.
On top of that, the 12% of traders that are currently taking part in this contest are reporting all kinds of weird issues like Stop-loss and Take-profit levels not being triggered, and pending orders not working at all.
Not sure if anybody cares about these useless statistics... and its only day 1. I personally find them fascinating, because, at the rate this competition is deteriorating at the moment, it makes me wonder if this broker will even awards the prizes at the end of the contest, considering they only got around 12% of the 3275 contestants to supply their personal details - which I think, in my own opinion, was the point this broker is hosting this contest.
Anyway, this is only day 1, and the whole situation may look different tomorrow..... who knows, maybe a miracle will happen and the majority of the traders will have their brand new "Demo Account status verified by the end of the week.
I know I will NOT be one of them, but instead I will break out the popcorn, and follow my the new favourite "FXChoice Reality Traders Show" with great amusement.
Good luck trading for the 12% that have the guts so far....

i think all of you are capable to read! right? so before contest started, rules was written and clear, i don't understand, what is your problem guys?
send your ID and start trading OR be quiet and let others use this topic for actual contest talk, not 47 pages full of crap about "why my account is disable?" or "we don't like the rules" , ...

Here it starts..... Looks like the Gold traders have taken a bit of punishment! Some have won big.... others have had their accounts wiped out... Gamble on boys.... and hold on to your horses for the big equalizer tomorrow.... oh yes, and good luck! 😀
