Is gold is allowed or not ??

Nothing in the Contest Rules page ......
If the rules of the Contest did not announce clearly this will be a manipulation on the contest participants

why no mention of lot size limitation and how many open trades at one time allowed. Rules seem very simple?

contest will be started in 1st of august. until the trading is disabled

The lack of response from Square about details on the account settings like hedging, FIFO and margin call percentage makes me think the prizes are designated and some participants will have advantage on the start. Makes me wonder if I want to play...:-[

Please see answers to some of the questions below:

All instruments present in the list will be allowed to trade - that includes GOLD.

Min lot allowed is 0.01 and max is 1000.

Hedging is allowed

Contest only starts on the 1st Aug so you will not be able to trade before then - hence the trade disabled error.

Also all trading strategies are allowed including scalping.

So the contest starts on NFP day. That should blow a few accounts!

Smart ones will either make alot of money from first day or will wait for monday to start trading.

I contacted square financial that tolds me it's my connexion. No solution. Very sad.

do you understand that this is a very bad spot for your company ?
Isn't even possible to use a basic moving average on daily chart due to lack of data , just try to put an sma(50) on eurusd, it won't be drawn !!
Very unprofessional.
