i know we would like to think the spreads matter on this, but its surely not the case. As Alec stated from Birts Comment " When you start the EA" is what makes the difference.
Remember that the EA will fire a signal Only after a NEW fractal, in some cases, my brokers M15 candles will be different than yours, as a result, I get the fractal and the signal, and you would not.
If I got the fractal first and the signal, if you added your EA on the chart right after my signal ( lets say Buy on EuRUSD) and the next fractal is an UpFractal, you would then get a Sell Signal. Hence the huge variation.
I'll bet within 1 month, they offer a signal service to maintain the same trades across all the accounts. Just like FGB 😁

my advise is to stop all live FT s until we see creator live account. this is second time that he is releasing an EA without Live account proof. some may not like this comment but Willam is using traders as Beta testers. at least he should supply those traders a free copy.

I agree that in the EA world there is a lack of good development lifecycle. with good test, beta, release... and support!!!
there is free site where they can provide a good interface to manage the support requests, this will be more professional too.

Hi Remus your pepper demo shows "0" comm. it should be 0.52*7.53$ is this ECN account?

Not that I don't agree. But an official live account? Not even a demo. Don't hold your breath...

Birt has offset ed the EURUSD pair tick data and tested the EA with that to see if there is a hard coded setup change in DLL related with DATE and it is good to hear that there is no such thing. ( which is a very clever way and may the only way to do it without having the source of DLL )

No, it's Pepperstone Standard (that's why the S in the PepS account name).
I did not want to use the lowest spreads, just better than FXDD (by more than 1 pip on some pairs).

(Off topic) Is that service any good? Didn't find any charts with FGB trade copier. (I didn't even know FGB existed)

I've been working very hard to release an update and
I hope you are very happy with it.
First, you can download it now in members area:

Just download it at the bottom. This file will replace
the old one with version 2.5
I have also included manual setup files if you

Some new filters were put in and settings
were adjusted, now hedging is off by default.

After I do some backtests, I'll decide if I replace the existing version in my forward tests account (2.1), or keep it in place and run the new one (2.5) in different accounts (or maybe even the same accounts, with a different magic number).

Following the distribution of an undisclosed amount to Steve and Alec, I no longer have an immediate need for more accounts ;)
Also, because FFM 2.5 led to crashes when running together with 2.1 in the same MetaTrader terminal instance, I decided to completely remove 2.1 and run just 2.5 (the crashes happened with both FXDD and Pepperstone, both running version 409).
To give FFM a fresh start, I manually closed the 2.1 trades. I will not reset the account's start date, though.
Lastly, the 2009-2011 backtests I did indicated that "DualMode false" (the new default) underperformed "DualMode true" for all 5 pairs (while also generating about double the number of trades), so I'm running with "DualMode true" on all my accounts.

I'm talking to the developer right now, as we see the same regarding the double number of trades by using Dual Mode False.
I guess atm that dual mode true is fals on the new release. so i forward this right now for a check

I'm getting 9100$ in dual mode for 2011 starting with 5000$
filter depth at 1000
9080$ in non dual mode... (filter depth at 1650)
other parameters to the default values...
I'm running additional optimisations...
for the USDCHF, again, I get better profits...
in optimised mode..
filter depth at 1200, kofatr 4.4, peratr 21
2011 wins:
12480$ !
well... I'm far away from the back tests sent by the FFM team...

I'm able to get... tada... 12320$ for 2011!!!!
(dual mode disabled)
