14.5% risk when all bots have one open trade. Sounds like fun.😲

The EAs have different trading times and they trade different strategies (some trade price actions during active markets hours, and some trade during the quieter Asian hours), so it is unlikely that they will all open trades at the same time.

Nevertheless, it is true that this account is a high risk account. We expect the max DD can go up to 50-60%, but at the same time the yearly gain should be at least 100-200% or more. People should understand that there is no risk of margin call even with this high risk account, because the max loss on a single trade is capped at 3%, and as the account decreases in size, the trading lot size will go down as well. As long as people can withstand a DD of 50-60%, they can just leave the account running and it will eventually recover.

For people who are more conservative, we also have the MAM account running at 30% Risk. It has a max expected DD of less than 20%, and an expected annual return of 30-50%.

Leroy42 you can go back to Forex21's thread if you don't like it here. Forex21 banned me after I made just one post in his thread questioning his screenshot, but I won't ban you because I have nothing to hide. 😉

It is true that SFE EAs can run into stagnation periods for a few months at times, but they will eventually recover. If you are not ready to invest for the long term then please don't use the SFE EAs. 😄

I have explained this several times before - on my personal accounts I used very high risk and I withdrew most of my profits and only leaving what's required to maintain the margin to run the accounts. Look at the Profit tab and you get a different picture:





and the total profit was over $330K:



and thanks for wishing me good luck, but I won't need it. Our strategies are based on real mathematical and statistical models that can beat the market, so we don't need luck to make profit in the long term. 😄

LOL, that account is my SFE price action, I was not lucky to buy it just before it started having some problem with markets conditions, lack of strong impulses ecc. It has nothing to do with the signal, where SFE PA is just one of the eas.
PS SFE has an history of many years and my only bad luck was not buy some years before.

So I think is better if you comment the signal.

As I said before, they were my own accounts and I was trading them at high risk and only leaving what’s required in the accounts to cover the margin. If I had a $1 million account then the numbers would become 33% gain with less than 10% DD over 4 years, because I never had a loss of more than $100K from the peak at any given time. I basically was trading my accounts like a $1 million account when I only had $100K or less in there. But I was confident with the strategies and at the end of the day it’s the actual profit in $$$ that counts, not the DD% which is just relative to the account size. It is a high risk method but I made it work with the profitable SFE strategies I had.

With the signals I am running now on IC Markets, I only use the default risk designed for each EA. Still, the IC Markets 100% Risk account is considered a high risk account and I expect the max DD can go up to 50-60%, but at the same time the yearly gain should be over 100-200%. The Pepperstone 30% Risk account will have a max expected DD less than 20%, with an expected annual return of 30-50%. There is no risk of margin call even with the high risk account, because the max loss on a single trade is capped at 3%, and as the account decreases in size, the trading lot size will go down as well.

People who are more adventurous can use the same risk as my IC Markets account, however I don’t recommend using this risk for people who are not prepared for 50% DD. Also, to balance out the risk myself, I plan to withdraw profits from the 100% Risk account to the 30% Risk account regularly.

As for the 34% DD on stefanos’s account, he started using SFE Price Action right at the peak in July 2018. Price action based strategies have struggled in the last 2 years due to less sustained breakouts in the market. Nevertheless, even though it is still now sitting at 20% DD, the official SFE Price Action account still had over 400% gain since 2015: https://www.myfxbook.com/members/autotrade/sfe-price-action/1331484

In fact, knowing the market cycle, I believe SFE Price Action will start to make another new high soon - very likely before the end of the year.

Also, SFE Price Action is only 1 of the 9 EAs that we use in our signals. When you have 9 profitable long term strategies covering each other, then the stagnation period will be significantly reduced, and the growth curve will be much more smooth.

I am not obsessed with dd but the number one job as a trader is to manage risk.
A +90% dd as on your accounts is a statement of failure and the argument 'yes but i did make some money at the end' is not valid.
Adding to loosing trades and averaging may work for a while but as you experienced many times, at the end you will not get away with it.

I think you should do less marketing and more risk management.

They were my personal accounts so I could do whatever I wanted. As I said, if I had $1 million (which of course I didn't) then the gain would have been 33% with the DD less than 10% over the 4 years. I understand it's a risky way to trade but it's also a proof that the systems works if you know when to increase the risk and when to withdraw your profits.

Anyway, I will not be using such high risk again with our public signals, so 80-90% DD will simply be impossible to happen in the future, even with this 1x Risk account. (although 50-60% DD may still be possible if you read my previous post, but at the same time the annual gain will be well over 100-200%).

People are welcome to watch our accounts for the next 12 months and make their own judgement. 😄

My account is near to its equity high. Personally I'm very happy with this signal.
