this is just the nature of the EA . . ive been using it for 6 moths now .. . over that period thee have been 4 - 5 spikes that have eaten 10-15% of the account . . . but i'm still well and truly ahead !

I've started to get some good trades. I had to play around with my filter depth a bit, and I also Have set reverse exit to false. After reviewing the trades that win, I found that if that more wiggle room was given then they could have turned out to be much larger winners. After the trade is well into profit I also adjust the target price to something realistic. Netted 200 pips over the last two trading days. See if it continues.

I think you totally miss the point. So what about the Marketing ? any one who BELIEVES it will make that much money it is a fool to begin with, and you know what they say about fools and their money - they should never have been together in the first place. not sure if our question got answered there . its still trading, as you know. I had the same error, and i have found performance increased and slippage to be reduced by setting stop orders = FALSE, hard stop trailing - TRUE. the robot will firstly enter the market, then follow through with the stop order in an amendment. I haven't had off quotes now for months.

yeh, i opened an account in the beginning of november. with 3 days it was up 50% . then until now it has been a bit of a roller coaster. down to 0%, back up to 40% and now trading at 19% . . .

Err.... That's what it does ... It sells into an up spike anticipating the retrace ... It's a robot ... It doesn't know it was a fed announcement !!! Hehe. One of my accounts actually made 25 pips. The other lost...a few
