What do you think about security though? This week there was yet another hack and a heist of $31 million in Tether cryptocurrency (https://www.forexbrokerz.com/news/31mln-worth-of-Tether-coins-get-stolen-developers-freeze-assets), which in turn caused Bitcoin to drop sharply on Monday before it continued rallying. This is hardly the first such heist and I doubt it will be the last, unfortunately. It's one thing to lose money because you don't know how to trade cryptocurrencies, it's another to just get robbed.

For me using an EA never worked in that regard. Instead of thinking "Did I made the right decision?" I think "Is the EA working properly?" and then I am anxious all over again.

There is a difference between confidence born of experience and awareness of one's own abilities and overconfidence because one is too arrogant to admit to themselves they need to be more careful, I think. Some people do suffer from the latter.

I was short from 0.8873 and I closed it at 0.8850. I got just twenty-something pips but that's better than nothing or losing.

I have no doubt that there are some (probably a lot of) shady brokers out there who do this. Why wouldn't they, considering all the other ways in which they scam and rip off their clients.

Who is actually regulating Global Brokerage now? They used to be part of FXCM, which is regulated by FCA and ASIC as far as I know, but Global Brokerage separated from them over a month ago (https://www.forexbrokerz.com/news/FXCM-parts-ways-with-Global-Brokerage) so who is regulating them now seems unclear.

I doubt anyone can do so in a single blog post. Massive tomes have been written about without fully exhausting the topic. I recommend to start with the simplest tutorials about newbies, there are plenty of those to be found.

Some people do keep very long term positions, everything is possible. I, personally, wouldn't.
