No withdrawals but trades were made.

And

https://www.myfxbook.com/members/outgrow/contest-outgrow/1056830

These 3 accounts are in top 10 and easy to spot but who knows how many accounts have no withdraws while other accounts do pay that .

Since the contest started to current date i have 191 lots traded (in total) and have paid over 2000$ as withdrawals and big boys open 200 lots in one trade and pay nothing ?

So far I have, 3 times in two days, not been able to open an order before during and 30 minutes after a news trade. I've even set my slippage to 40 pips. FORTY PIP SLIPPAGE AND I STILL GET OFF QUOTES... AND ON A DEMO FEED.

Hi Huckleberry,

When you say that you set your slippage to 40 pips, are you saying that you set your Maximum Deviation on MT4 to 400? Note that since FXCM quotes forex prices to one-tenth of one pip (AKA 5-digit pricing), 1 point on the Maximum Deviation is equivalent to 0.1 pips.

Commissions are reflected as withdrawals on your FXCM MT4 account. Commissions are only charged on forex trades. That's because you're trading on our raw FX spreads with no markups. A separate commission is charged as your fee to FXCM for executing these forex trades.

By contrast, there are no commissions with FXCM when you trade CFDs like gold (XAU/USD), because our markup is already built into the CFD spread. The reason the contestants you pointed out are showing no commissions (withdrawals) being charged is because they are trading gold, not forex.

Guys just relax. Most of the demo traders are going all in. Almost no one would do that. I have my system which has ran 110%+ in less then 2 months with a pip drawdown of an avg of 10 pips.. Accuracy is the name of this EA...

If you're tired of getting OFF QUOTES or INVALID PRICE, then use a Script or EA to place your trades for you. You may still get errors, but not nearly as often.

Thanks sharing that suggestion, Tony

Also, for everyone who has encountered off quotes or invalid prices messages on your demo accounts, please note that these messages most likely mean the price that was available in the market to fill your order was outside your specified Maximum Deviation range. The 'off quotes' message lets you know that the order was cancelled to protect you from negative slippage beyond your accepted tolerance.

On the MT4 platforms of some brokers, the Maximum Deviation feature might not be available at all, and with others if it is available, then it can limit both your negative slippage and your positive slippage equally. By contrast, FXCM enhanced how Max Dev works on our MT4 platform by allowing you to limit your negative slippage while still enjoying the full benefits of any positive slippage.

Here are the stats compiled from over 43 million live trades executed through FXCM from August 2013 to January 2014. In just those six months alone, FXCM clients benefited from over $15 million in positive slippage: https://bit.ly/16Z5Za2

- 73% of all orders had no slippage.
- 15% of all orders received positive slippage.
- 12% of all orders received negative slippage.
- Over 60% of all limit and limit entry orders received positive slippage.
- 53.32% of all stop and stop entry orders received negative slippage.

If you find that you are getting the 'off quotes' message too frequently, then consider increasing your Maximum Deviation, particularly if you trade during times when prices can change quickly. You can access this on your MT4 platform by going to Tools > Options and the Trade tab as shown below.

Since FXCM uses 5-digit pricing (fractional pips), every 10 points on the Maximum Deviation is equivalent to one pip. If you adjust your Max Dev to 30, that would equate to price range of 3 pips.

Please let me know if you have any further questions about this.

Thanks,
Jason

EVERYONE: GBPNZD on FXCM is @ 2.0572, and my FinFX live account is 2.0622... that's 50 pip difference!!!

your finfx is scam broker lol

you obviously don't know what you're talking about lol. i've traded a 100k account at finfx the past year and have always gotten withdraws right away, never a problem...

and why did my friend who traded @ forex.com with me get the same move as GBPNZD in finfx, but FXCM stayed flat?!?!? pretty obvious which one is the scam. finfx and forex.com's GBPNZD was going up steadily for about 20-25 minutes, all while FXCM's stayed FLAT.

FXCM did it again on GOLD. FinFX live and markets.com and forex.com demos were around 1156-1157 while FXCM WAS 1148 and kept falling while the other brokers were rebounding. FXCM, why are you market making this competition and rigging your demo feed during news? To be one of the largest brokers, I assumed you would be one of the best. That isn't a very good assumption though.

Hi Traders,

What`s happening in this contest or with FCXM....?

Put a buy order (06.11/ 15.38) GBPCHF at 1.54118 with TP 1.54262... Price raised till 1.54459 (16.05) BUT TP was not activated...

Can someone explain it to me... Is this a clean contest or the winner is already decided?

couple of questions, Jason 1) why is this contest account trading two hours ahead of a live account I.E. 14:00 instead of 12:00 UTC? 2) how often does the leader board update? anyway thanks ahead of time. great contest (if you read the information given) hope FXCM runs many more in the future. was part of the group that came over from IBFX and have been very pleased with FXCM so far.

I have 2 live accounts and this demo.
Live accounts on 2 good brokers i have the bid/ask price at the same level.
now watch the 'minor' 50 pip difference in fxcm, and we are talking about eur/usd which is the most used pair among brokers.

I'd rate this broker a 10 ......... out of 100 of course.
