Dear mothaya,

Thank you for your post, but unfortunately we can not add or modify any of the contest rules during the registration and contest. There are many participants who have already completed their verification, so it would not be fair to change the rules even if we could.

Best regards
FX Choice Ltd.

Dear FxChoise Representative,

We are requesting to modify the rule regarding the account verification that is needed before the contest so that it can be requested after the contest winners are announced?

We expect and hope that our request will be accepted.

Regards

We? Who are we? I'm not requesting anything. I hope it stays stays like this.
If you can't read the rules before joining then why are you complaining? The rules were very specific, if you don't like them then don't subscribe to the contest. Easy.

yes i agree with you

i think peoples here dont agree the verification rule because they might be want create multiple account to have more chances winning this contest.

hey peoples.. if you think you are fair people why you must scared to verify your account? also this verification procedure is a plus point, don't you think if you win this contest you not again must do verification process? you get the prize in the end without doing verification again because you are already verified 😄

So why not just verify in case you win in the end? Makes more sense to me?!

FXChoice has very good ratings.
Unfortunately someone has sold my info recently an I am getting many phone calls from all kind of scam brokers, and this is rely annoying.
Suggestion to FXChoice: allow the contest and after results ask for details.

That last contest thread set a new record for dumb questions easily answered by reading the rules...and definitely for the most whiners. Hopefully this will be better...though I see the questions have already started.

We do need to clarify the rule regarding 'commercial robots' though. As a couple others have asked, how would they differentiate between EA's that were purchased and ones that were coded by the trader themselves....or ones downloaded for free. Does this mean no EA's at all? (I don't use them so it makes no difference to me...but this IS a good question that needs an answer.)

Here is the general rue of thumb. If the robot can be purchased, then it can not be used in the contest.

I hope that clears things up for you.

Good Luck !!

And how will FX Choice know whether the EA was purchased or not?

I think in this day and age of ID fraud I'm concerned that ID documentation is required for a Demo contest. Its never been required before with anyone else. If I am going to open a real account or become the winner of such I contest to receive real funds then that would be acceptable.

There is thousands listed and to play you have to give them ID, sounds a bit SUS to me.

I think Ill wait for the next contest.

Good luck to those that participate I hope you ID is in good hands.

Not me though

'The use of commercial robot is prohibited.'

As this is a contest and should be fair for all participants using their own strategies, we have also decided not to allow the use of commercial EA. Most commercial robots produce good results with automatic server execution as we will have during the contest. This environment is different from live therefore you can use only your own EA.

There will be no detection regarding commercial EA but we will judge by our experience as we have with most commercial robots.

It would be impossible to differentiate between a Commercial and personal robot by just looking at the trades. This contest can never be fair if this is the case.

They're talking about 0s (some which trade less than 3 minutes) ea trades, grids, and martingales and i guess most News spike scalping EAs.
Those EAs ruin trading contests.

Ok here it is. According to a lawyer friend of mine and I’m not saying he is a good lawyer or anything. He couldn’t get me out of my last ticket but, when I open a account with someone and I transfer to them my information and I make my deposit. I am entering a legally binding contract with them. I would have some recourse for anything negative that came about because of their negligence in handling and storage of my information. But what FX Choice is asking me to do is make a copy of my government issued ID which has my address and my identification number on it and proof of my address. With this you basically have my identity. They aren’t asking me to sign a contract, or have they said anything about the protection of my information. What the website says is if you can’t upload these documents thru the Back Office then simply email them to this address. Now everything I have read or 90 percent of what I have read about FX Choice is positive. The negative things I have read seem to stem from technical issues that they worked out. I have been testing their platform for about 3 weeks and have been happy with, prior to even hearing about this contest because I was thinking of switching to them from my current broker that I am not happy with. If you noticed I said “was”. After all of this my opinion has become negative if only in the fact I think it very unprofessional to ask for such things without offering me any assurances my information will be safe. Now if I missed those assurances somewhere I’m sorry. But this verification should have been handled in a different way. This to me seems like 3 teenagers running a business out of their garage. That’s about the same amount of professionalism they are exhibiting. Now this is just my opinion, if it offends anyone I’m sorry for that too. It was not meant too. Good luck to everyone that has and will enter the contest. Turk
