I would love to talk to somebody who is successful trading the smaller time frame EURUSD charts during the New York session. I started trading full time about 6 months ago and I'm stuck. I have worked at different strategies and gone through the ups and downs of trying to learn for the last few years until I thought I had it figured out. Since going full time there have definitely been more downs than ups.

I have been using a simple retracement to a previous lowlow or highhigh that signals a buy or sell. I confirm on the 5m and enter on the 1m. I use no more than a 4pip stop loss and lock in 1R when the trade reaches 2r, then trail my stop based on structure.

When I back test this strategy it works. When I get to the far right side of the charts I have been struggling. I have tried to learn order blocks and ICT strategies thinking maybe there is something in there that I need to get me over the hump but I'm just stuck. Lately it's felt like I'm putting in all of this time and work and it's supposed to be working but it's just not. I'm doubting if I'm even using all of my time and energy to push me towards success. I don't know if any of you guys have ever been chundered by a big wave or taken a swim in high volume whitewater but sometimes you get so turned around under water that you don't know which way is up. I don't need someone to hold my hand through the entire process and teach me what to do. I just would really appreciate if somebody could just point me toward air.

I would love to talk with somebody who is willing to share what has worked for them and can share some advice.
