hello does anyone know of any sources where you can export economic data to use in statistical software analysis? Trading economics .com has great data but unfortunately it's not free. Is there anyway to export or grab the data for the data in the historical calendar tool? Especially having the expected values would be useful. Thanks if anyone knows!

Yes MT4 go to history center, click on pair , click download. That is the best free source.

If you're looking for economic data there is a tool that will download into excel from St Louis Fed Reserve. Just google St Louis Fred.

This is the 'Fred' Chart data that you often see with analysis.

You can also get tons of data from

Eurostat - Kind of the FRED for Europe but I've not found an Excel Tool like the FRED data one (shame).

Google Data Explorer - not always up to date but good for a quick lookup

and tradingeconomics although a lot of their more in-depth stats are subscription.

They all have online charting apps and data can be downloaded in a variety of formats.
