hey guys,

I have just looking at this system here. recently I've put in some money into their program. But i realise i am already in 18% DD.
 https://www.myfxbook.com/members/FXTradersAccount/forex-traders-account/944748/ivD0JFIelKVClA88Acsg

but according to myfxbook the max DD is still showing as 10 something %. Do we know how myfxbook calculates the value in DD? Can some hide their DD if they dont constantly refresh it?

Also I've checked the Trading Systems page but this doesnt seem to have a discussion page so i am posting here instead. Mods please move if required.

hello Vikrem,
I wonder what is happening with your account now? I looked at this program and seems quite good, but do you say its fake?
Best regards,
Ram

heya, i had a DD of 33% and have revoked their LPOA with them as I was getting a standard template reply. additionally this DD is not reflected on their account here in myfxbook. It also happens i wasnt the only one experiencing this an others who've invested have chosen to exit the program.

I went through the trouble of finding out how they can operate multiple accounts differently under a same program from the broker and hence i decided that it was enough, i am not sure if its fake and if so how they've managed to show such a good long run with a reputable broker such as synerygyFX

My guess is they have a mt4 server and changed the e of their broker to fx synergy. Drawdowns should not cross 20% if they are good traders. So, by looking at your statement, this is a scam. It would be good for you to report to myfxbook staff, so they can check it. Use the contact us below.

Okay a bit to tell you. I provide a signal service. I offer a 5 day free trial, guaranteed drawdowns to never be more than 20%. You will be setting the max drawdown in the receiver EA. Please read my website for more details savantfx . com

savantfx, thanks for your suggestion. I did already ask the staff here but like its not they want to get into. the following is what I got

Hello F1Maniac,

Our verification only goes to show you that the data we show is identical
to the data in the trading account (the data fetched directly from the broker).
It is possible (in theory) to buy your own MT4 server and edit the trading
history - there is no way to verify such a scenario.

Thanks,
Ethan,
Myfxbook support.

There were discussions about this on donnaforex, and this is not the first time they do it. They have the mt4 server license, so stay away.

hello, I think this should really be reported to the Australian authorities because it sounds like a classic broker-side scam, where the broker is keeping the account 'in-house' whilst knowing the trading will cause loss it can simply keep the deposit aside and keep/steal whatever is lost before the client asks for it back, if anything left.

regards

still remember the downfall on ichiscalper last year. but anyway, synergyfx didn't says this is real account on their side. too many scams around too good to be true :).

I wrote them to have some info, they don't manage account at Synergy but at Tallinex they said. The fact that they show a different broker is suspicious, also the page of performance is not present in their main page in myfxbook. We can have another example of mystification of datafeed to scam..... Damn ! Another scammer!

They are a scam... check their performance properly and you will see the link is an outdated one where it was stopped long ago BUT they have started a new system with the old info (i.e old link) projecting the performance.

Yes in the main page they don't have anything, but their ads refer to this link https://www.myfxbook.com/members/FXTradersAccount/forex-traders-account/944748/ivD0JFIelKVClA88Acsg
I found it last week on their ads as I was looking for a new investment at low risk, so they are active nowadays in their scam activity. Good that if someone read our post can avoid problem. Year ago I've been scammed some times from other funds

Vikrem, good job man !! It seems they use SynergyFx real data also this time. This is another example of quite sophisticated scam, because as investors we look at real accounts and real data and I also look at good broker and Synergy is a good broker!
As I said they send me mail that they have account at Tallinex and not at Synergy so RED Flag.
Their main page is still empty: https://www.myfxbook.com/members/FXTradersAccount
I hope people look at our post before decide to put money there.

Found a way to see hidden pages of manager, this can be useful if you see a manager has TOO MUCH systems deleted. This can be a sort of red flag, because it can means that the strategy works for some months or week and later crash !
I used it to find another hidden link of FX VIP CLUB.

Go to Google - Write SITE: and the main page you want scan.

Example:

site:https://www.myfxbook.com/members/FXTradersAccount/forex-traders-account

And you can see all the pages that you don't see in the main account.

Some managers show only the profitabls accounts and discharge the losing accounts, this is not a REAL TRANSPARENCY.

Take a look at how many accounts were deleted by Forexboys for instance:

site:https://www.myfxbook.com/members/forexboysdotcom

It's not that hard to spot if someone is scam. You can do that just by looking at their account. Any account with a monthly return of higher than 2-4% on average with an year or longer trading will experience significant drawdown. This is just a simple rule of the forex game. If there was a way to constantly make profit in forex, big hedge funds and banks would be the first one to do that. Also, some accounts pretend to be low risk and make a constant of 2-4% every month. Again, that might be possible for few months but not for years. There are many accounts on myfxbook that're fake and have ruined people's account. This is a critical for myfxbook staff and should consider improving their system. Otherwise, no one will trust any account here to follow.
