Thanks for all the nice feedback & support. Some good advice. Still no one else out there from retail forex move into Hedge Funds as career? i'd like to work Hedge Funds. I'll be contacting some Hedge Funds soon and hear what they have to say...
Hedge funds manager wont work the way you do. You risk too much.
Am i taking too much risk? how do you figure? My trades on average last within few hours. It's not like i am floating in some huge DD for days. I try to get in grab profits and exit within hour or two.
hedge fund industry is armed with capital and their benchmark is 40-50% annual returns to be considered 'best' in the industry.
Remember 40-50% is 'ANNUAL' what did i make in 1 month? 1200% taking medium risk. So, reaching their so-called 'alpha returns 50%' i can manage with my eyes closed.
So, if I am not in a hedge-fund its because they haven't discovered me. I'll be reaching out to some of them and make my case to see what they can offer me vs. What i can offer them.
Some of these hedgefunds traders are paid hefty 200-300K base salaries. 400-500K bonus based on performance. This is what i am aiming at. If one has the talent to produce results, why settle for less?
