Right, as far as I can tell from looking through posts etc, there is no difference in content between the strategies section and the trading systems section.

My understanding is that trading systems are ea's etc and strategies are manual systems or theory of trading, trading style etc discussions.

There seems to be a lot of ea talk in both sections, and a lot of trading style talk in both sections.

Are there any guidelines about posting in these sections? If not, I think there should be. Or at least a blurb so people know what's what.

What are everyone's thoughts on this?

MODS: If I have posted this topic in the wrong section, I apologise. Please move it to the correct section as appropriate.

Hi,

Yes, this thread should have been posted into general section.

The difference between Trading System vs Strategy System are quite simple.
Trading System are run by live or demo account (EA or Manual)... this could be your account if you have uploaded one... and then click into 'Discuss'... it will then appear into the first place on this section.
Strategy System are test/backtest EA.
