Trend following strat doesn't work no more?

As a novice forex trader, I tried some strats based on price action.

Mainly influenced by Turtle Trading system, I started trading based on their simple strat for forex, indice, commodities however, it didn't take a long time to turn out the strat didn't work as I expected.

If your trading style is based on trend following strat, what's the most profitable strat you're using?

It will be helpful if you give me some clue about this.

Did you back test the strategy or just forward test it and in either case for how long?

If you can't spot the liquidity then you are the liquidity.

From my experience, the market context is to make a good strategy profit. But here the risk must be managed.
