I just launched a new trading system and wanted to use myfxbook for validation and possible refinement. The performance results are excellent, but in trying to add my account, I noticed that only MetaTrader4 is supported. Does myfxbook not support analysis of manual trading system?

Maybe you could register a trading account with a MT4 broker and try to do your manual trades there, then link the account history to your myfxbook account. They have detailed guidelines on how to add an account, so don't worry.

I believe they do support analysis for manual trading systems as well as automated trading systems. You can check the profitability in %, see which hour of the day your system does better, check what's your average holding time for each currency pair, check which currency pair gives you the most profit in $ and in pips, and much much more.

For more info you can head down here:

Or if you really want to use your trading platform but not sure if they support it. Check with them.

This is copied from their FAQ (https://www.myfxbook.com/faq)

'You don't support my trading platform. What should I do?

Please tell us what platform you use, using the contact page. We are constantly adding support for new trading platforms, and we'll notify you once the support for your trading platform is added.
We also recommend contacting your broker.'

food for thought, i just happen to be a fairly clever sockets programmer, not that i am available for work, cuz really i am very occupied, but anyways, i would be interested to know what the issue was that caused myfxbook to stop tracking those oanda accounts, i am guessing that there was some kind of issue with that cookie thing that must be regenerated regularly to access the oanda java platform's tradiing history data...

assuming that this is correct, a possible solution might be, and i want to emphasize the might be, what if a program were made available to oanda platform users that would run on the trader's terminal that would just snatch up that cookie and then it could make the sockets calls, with said cookie, retrieve the history data, and then also update the myfxbook servers.

early into this project, i wrote some ethernet sniffing code that sniffed the price feed directly from the ethernet packets that were sent to/from the https://fxsol.com windows trading application. i think that the trades info was there in the packets also, tho i cant remember for sure, anyways..
