For trading you do not need 8 hours+ work. Merely a 4 hour session can be enough. But the fact is you have to skilled enough. Yes in forex trading you have the opportunity to work less and earn more. But this facility doesn't make trading easy. You need time and a lot of study to get skilled.

Every trader should focus on increasing trading abilities. Trading is not any easy task. You need specific knowledge and skills. Those knowledge and skills doesn't just come to you. You have to achieve it. To achieve it you have to study a lot. And it also takes time. There is no short cut. The quicker one understands this the better.

Agreed! IN forex, it is not about only the amount of time you give to this market, but the quality of work that you do in that time. Traders sit in front of screens for 7-8 hours daily, still their earnings are next to zero, because they don't do anything fruitful in that time. So instead of focusing on sitting for longer hours, it is better that one pays attention to what he's exactly doing, planning the tasks and taking care of the risk factor.

Forex trading can be one of the simplest ways to earn money. You can earn a lot more money as a Forex trader than you would working retail. You also do not have to worry about the hassles of a regular job. You are basically your own boss if you are a full time trader.

For trading you do not need to replicate someone else's trading style, You should have your own plans to enter and exit the positions. Everyone has a different trading mindset according to his goals and risk appetite. Never try to fit in that. And do homework before going live otherwise stress will eat you.

It’s true many traders only spend a few hours and still earn more than the ones who keep themselves glued to their screens all day long. It’s not about how much time you spent trading but how well you utilize that time. Whatever time you spare for trading, you should do your homework and know how the market behaves during those hours, which currencies are more profitable to trade, etc.

It is extremely difficult to predict the short-run direction of exchange rates. Economists often view changes in exchange rates as following a random walk, which means that a future increase is as likely as a decrease.

@AlanSolarsh Only trading is strategy is not enough to be successful in forex market. Trading is 90% psychological. Our decision gets influenced by our emotions. We need to learn how to control those emotions.
