There are prognosis for BTC value at $50,000 within couple of years.
Would be nice to have some BTC at that time :)

As the total amount of BTC mined will be less than 21,000,000 and there are like 8,000,000,000 people

when you would own 1 BTC it will be probably more than 99% of the population

That assumes that BTC continues to be of interest and used / speculated. There are limited number of stocks in General Motors but that does not mean that the price will always rise. If no one has faith in the underlying asset (which is just usage for BTC), then the price will fall - potentially to zero

Well the usage of BTC and altcoins is growing every dat so there is a good base for price increase in future.

Is China looking to ban crypto mining? If so, do you have a reliable source that says this may happen

Wow that could be huge problem for crypto (I assume). I assume that would cause price to fall? or am I over simplifying it

Not necesarilly.
If China prohibit mining then there will be less BTC generated and price should go up.

Yes, that’s the assumption. But till now, we need to wait for last conformation on mining news from China.
