Hi Traders,

Well I am sure most of you have been to a seminar before but I was wondering if anyone knows about Greg Secker, his seminar and forex course he offers. I just got out of his seminar in Melbourne oz where he said for $5000 to join his course plus 5k in trading account and he will show/ teach his systems, plus a 2 day teaching course. On top of that he is willing to put you with his live London traders to view them putting the strategies in place.

At this point in time I am not sold as he reckons he can teach anyone to be a millionaire......Maybe the 5k is better in my own account. I am currently trying to find more info about him but thought I would ask the community if they have had any dealings or know of his strategies.

Yeah, think I went to one of their free seminars once but didn't end up signing up for the course. Guess it depends where you are at in terms of your knowledge and how independent a knowledge seeker you are.

I felt that my level of market knowledge was good enough that I wouldn't gain much from the seminar. I was already making money from trading and was actually making better returns than they told me they were achieving on the course.

They have some of their own strategies that they teach, I think one revolved around pivot points. If you put in the hard work on the internet on various forums, get your nose in some books and then put in the desk time on MT4 on a trade simulator I reckon your money would be better held back and put into your trading account.

Oh and make sure you spend plenty of time getting your trading psychology right. Get this wrong and you could go on every trading seminar in the world and still lose money.

thats exactly the point steve! if you want to be profitable, get your mind right und work on your own method.
most people think its just about systems, they follow blindly, but dont know why and what they are doing.

you can read smth from stuart mcphee, or just google him.. its about general trading, not just forex..

and 99% of those systems sold are not profitable. would you sell a profitable system? noooo you would keep it for sure, you wouldn't visit any forums, sites or anything. you wouldn't manage someone elses account, make seminars, why should you??
you would trade your own accounts and enjoy your life!
trading is passion
