A mentor can be a good option if you get a good one. Even legendary Warren Buffett had mentor. But his mentor was Benjamin Graham, often known as the father of value investing. A Mentor is good if you get a skilled mentor. Otherwise sefl learning is the best.

Every trader should have a mentor. That would give him a detailed idea about trading. Benefiting from this, a trader will become successful.

Having a mentor is really nice, but you need to understand that you need to become independent.

Having a mentor is great. But finding a good mentor is not easy. Most of the online mentors are not actually a good mentor. It is better if you find anyone offline.

Having a mentor is good. Try to choose a mentor who teaches psychological aspects of reading as well along with technical and fundamental.

In my opinion, if we speak about such topic as having a mentor in trading activity, then I suppose that beginners shouldnt have a such one. There are plenty of reasons, but the main for me is that if you will do everything by yourself you will assimilate infpormation much faster and it will be very useful for you. Mentor are similar to teachers at school, nevertheless trading acitivty is such a thing where you don't need to have a teacher, because your personal experience really matters a lot here. When you will be explained everything by your mentor, you probably will assimilate less information and you will be afraid of trading when your mentor will leave you.

Agreed buddy!
Taking help is fine to some extent but it's always better to learn on your own to get a clear understanding and better experience.

A good trader is not always a good mentor. In order to teach, you need to have additional analytical skills. A special kind of thinking that allows you to build training correctly.
I would not be able to teach anyone how to trade, although I have experience since 2009 and at the moment my trading system shows a stable result.

Right @MarcellusLux not everyone is interested in being a mentor, but one can always benefit from the experience of a successful trader if he is fine sharing it.

Yes. A mentor can be a good option to make money from this market.

Very true a mentor can only take you so far before you have to stand on your own two feet

You can teach the basics,
but no one will share their own developments.
