For me, when the market is not yet breakout, I tend to risk just 1 percent, but when it is clear, I go for well above 1percent, because trading is all about taking the chances or opportunities when it presents itself.

I try not to exceed the risk of 5%. In order not to lose the account with a sharp movement of the market towards the unprofitable side for me.

Just uses placed stops and auto stop then you will be fine on profits, that is how I accumulate profits all the time and entering at the safest points.

it depends upon how much risk you are willing to take in order to make profits out of your trades in order to have control over your losses one must have knowledge about stop loss and trailing stop loss so as to have complete control over his trades.

risk and profit goes hand in hand.. the more risk you are willing to take the more you earn. But one has to make sure the strategies are right and most important dont fall for greed.

You need to make a good and proper plan to deal with the losses. If you can not take proper risks, you can not make money from this market.

1:3. Only when I know the likely returns are thrice of my investment, do I open that trade.

It all depends on each particular situation - sometimes you can increase the risks significantly if you believe in what is happening. And sometimes you regret $1 because you realize that there is no potential at all.

I never suggest more than a 2% risk. Because the more risk you take, the more stress you will create.

Well, according to the traditional approach, 10% is the limit.
But I don't know how realistic it is in everyday life...

As for me, 10-15% risks per trade is quite high. I only take 5% risk per trade.

Trading is risky. That's why Managing risk is very important for maximizing profit. I risk 2% of my capital for each trade. Similarly, the most silly introduction to risk is 4%. It proposes I open most crazy of 2 trades. I figure everyone should keep up their hazard association rules. Without overseeing risk in trading entire arrangement achievement is farfetched.
