Part 1: Fear in Trading – Why We Cut Winners Short

Fear is traders' number one enemy. You find a good setup, you enter, and when you're in profit — fear speaks to you: "Take it before it vanishes."

The consequence? You cut winners short, and small profits never make up for the inevitable losses.

Why fear occurs:

Previous losing trades create uncertainty.

Fear of giving back profits.

Not having confidence in your plan.

How to overcome it:

Pre-define your stop-loss and take-profit prior to entry.

Size trades so losses become palatable.

Journal trades to gain confidence in your advantage.

Tip: Fear will not go away. You simply learn to perform despite it.
