I think u guys should have achieved the skill of judgement of comparing trading what ll work on real account. Here is my real account check page 7-14.and comparing those with my demo account u ll figure out what is lag in ur judgement.
The only and big problem in ur system is u are surviving till now is u didnt withdraw any fund from it.Its not giving u any scope of withdraw all the time its using most of ur fund.So if u withdraw middle of trade u could be margin out.And u are in middle of trading all the time.So the result is if u make 10k than u may have a scope of with draw 1k from it regularly.
dd% isnt factor here cause starting balance is 100$ so who ll talk about dd% are total nob in forex. So avoid those nob its waste of time reply those nob.
DD% is always a factor, no matter the size of the account. Imagine he was a PAMM manager in which he his starting balance was 100 usd, then he gets 10 clients who deposit 10k each. He now has a total of 100,100usd to control. Yet, if in his account he allows his 100usd to go in red 75 usd, then in all of his clients account will be in red 7,500 usd as the loss and profit the account manager gains in his account, it is passed to the other accounts also. The profit of that account is very good, but with a dd % that high, it means that his account is a ticking time bomb to be margin called!
@BellaVista507 A good system recovers after bad times. Taking losses, trading during pip drawdowns, closing winners and losers at the same time at basket breakevens can really make pip counts meaningless. Keep in mind if the system does enter drawdown I want to be rewarded for the time wasted. You will see that my recovery cycles are well worth the period of drawdown.
Also I'll put this in perspective for you,
Making 1000% gain in 1 year with 60% Peak DD is very acceptable because achieving an annual 100% gain with 6% MAX drawdown is a DREAM for most traders and everyone has the choice of their Risk setting.
Follow me at 0.1 Risk Multiplier. The best thing about trading FX is that everyone can run the same system and still have the ability to adjust their risk settings to achieve their goals within their risk appetite. It really is a beautiful thing ( position sizing). Best luck with your trading and thank you for your criticism. It is welcomed!
