Hi Everyone,

Just started a new account with MT4 and verified trading privileges.
My trades are totally transparent so that all can follow.
Starting capital is $10k and I will be adding to this as funds become available.
I usually average 2- 3% per week from this system by using 1% risk per trade.

Looking forward to talking trading.

Rob.

Hi Rob,
and thank you.
It is just a tiny account used to test different combined strategies.
Unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to publish my Live Dukascopy account were I'm actually sending signals via MT4/JForex client bridge from ThinkFx (Forex Growth Bot).
Spreads are similar and the execution time very fast. I'm getting good results. Although, it should be monitored and sometimes needs manual intervention 😕

Have a nice weekend,
Ermes.

Update for anyone interested...
Additional $1000 added to account today. Risk per trade is now $119 with a TP of 1.7 x Risk.
My long term goal is to build funds up to $80k by March 2012, finish my day job for good and travel around Australia for a year or two.

Regards

Rob

Interesting start to my long term plan. I have been caught up in market tactics that have stripped me of my usual gains.
My system relies on a continuation of market direction but alas that has not been the case since starting here.
Sometimes you can doubt your system but always best to stick with it.

Good trading to all.

Side market on EurUsd gave problems to me too. A lot of false signal on threatening lower side of range. I was convinced in my short position, but ... Too many retracements.
As further evidence the news.

Still possible that the Greek government was threatening to stop using the euro (old news, just a rumor?).
Greek and European Union officials denied the report, but a threat by Greece to jettison the euro is long overdue, and it should be prepared to carry it out. As much as the move might cost Greece in the short term, it is very unlikely that such costs would be greater than the many years of recession, stagnation and high unemployment that the European authorities are offering.

There is also the idea that Greece — as well as Ireland, Spain and Portugal — can recover by means of an “internal devaluation.” This means increasing unemployment so much that wages fall enough to make the country more internationally competitive. The social costs of such a move, however, are extremely high and it rarely if ever works. Unemployment has doubled in Greece (to 14.7 percent), more than doubled in Spain (to 20.7 percent) and more than tripled in Ireland (to 14.7 percent). But recovery is still elusive.

You can be sure that the European authorities would offer Greece a better deal under a credible threat of leaving the euro zone. In fact, there are indications that they may have already moved in response to last week’s threat...

Fortunately, I have been closed in profit before the strong resistance @1.42700.

Kindly Regards,
Ermes.

2 great sell setups today going straight into profit (+2%)but a reversal took all that away and now waiting on a new signal. Just proves that no matter how great a trade entry looks, if there is no power behind the move there are no profits. Looking for a long trade now.

Long trade worked out, target just hit. No more trades for today. Slow and steady wins the race...

Wow. Rob disappeared into thin air. Like camel fart in a desert storm. You could say 'transparent' as in invisible.
