ricki72 posted: Oh sorry, yes i wanted to write my experience. So I am really happy with the new VPS. Very fast and stable! Also during busy market times. And the price is less than half the price of the one i had before. I pay € 9 per month and they have even cheaper offers (€ 7) A newer windows system (10 instead of 7) and a lot of space. I will stay with this one 😎
Glad to hear you found the best solution for your needs! Good luck now with using it! 😄
ricki72 posted: I use a well recommended and cheap VPS server that is on the top of the list here in myfxbook. The support is nice, good and fast. But I find the remote desktop connection very slow and unstable during the week. It´s very annoying and needs a lot of time if I want to do things like intall a new metatrader, start an EA, change the settings… Even if I just open a new chart or switch from one metatrader (window) to another. Sometimes I could go to the kitchen and make a coffee before it reacts! Or the connection kicks me out. It doesn´t matter if it in the morning or evening. It´s always very slow. I am ready to reduce the use of the CPU with some measures like closing tools and charts that are not needed, but I don´t think it will help a lot.
On the weekend there is no problem, it´s fast and stable.
I thought this is normal and every VPS is slow during the week. But now I would like to ask the community if it is really like this or are there better VPS that are also cheap (I pay 20 € per month)
Maybe you should think about investing a little more into a better one. Surely it allows your work to be more effective and of course that will have better gain for you.
