Hey traders,

I’ve been testing out different platforms this year and thought I’d share a quick comparison — would love to hear what others are using too.

I started like many of us on MT4, then moved to MT5 a couple of years ago for its better asset coverage and improved tools. I’ve mainly used IC Markets and Pepperstone to run MT5 — both have been pretty solid in terms of execution and customization.

But recently, I’ve been testing Webtrader platforms as well. I’ve been using TradeEU Global's Webtrader and honestly, I was surprised by how smooth it runs. Super lightweight, no download, and decent charting for quick trades — especially useful when I’m away from my main setup or trading on mobile.

Here’s my quick take:

✅ MT5 – Great for deeper analysis, automated trading, and more control ✅ Webtrader – Good for speed and accessibility, especially on-the-go ✅ Mobile – Still catching up, but useful for basic monitoring and position management

What are you guys using these days? Are Webtraders becoming a realistic alternative to MT5 for you, or is it still mostly secondary?

Curious to know if anyone else here is shifting more toward browser-based platforms, or sticking with the classics.

Happy trading and good luck out there! 💹

In 2025, I’m sticking with MetaTrader 4 (MT4) from Exclusive Markets—and honestly, it’s still one of the best out there.

Even with all the new platforms popping up, MT4 remains a top choice for traders who value speed, reliability, and powerful tools. With Exclusive Markets, the MT4 experience gets even better. Here’s why:

Fast execution – Perfect for both swing and day trading.Built-in indicators & charting tools – Everything you need to analyze the market.Expert Advisor (EA) support – You can automate your strategy with ease.Access to a wide range of assets – Forex, commodities, indices, and more—all in one place.Stable and secure – Their servers are optimized for performance, so no lags or downtime during volatile moves.Whether you're a beginner or a pro, MT4 on Exclusive Markets is a solid platform to trade confidently in 2025.

There’s been a noticeable shift toward Webtraders lately, mostly for the convenience factor. But when it comes to running EAs or handling more complex setups, MT5 still feels like the stronger choice. Fxview’s MT5 setup has been pretty smooth, quick execution, even during major news events. Also, the platform feels stable during high-volume hours, which helps when managing multiple positions.
