As crypto is now more mainstream it appears to correlating to the normal risk assets. BTC will move inline with US stocks from now on. There is downside risk there so there could be further price falls

I agree, as much as that butthurts some people. BTC is behaving more like stocks when the markets are risk on and risk off. Dollar is pushing it around as it does most other assets.
If you can't spot the liquidity then you are the liquidity.

Part of the problem if you will as been viewed as an asset which it is .
That and the institutions are pulling at its strings welcome to mainstream adoption!
