Emotion cannot be controlled by someone at all. but when you would a long time in this volatile trading place then you will understand when it should be controlled. Using high leverage without real money managing plan and after losing take revenge from this market place is the foremost symptom of emotions which is mainly considered the enemy of Fx profits.

How do you propose for a trader to learn to control their emotional responses during trading?

I remember when I closed the minus transaction for the first time, I was nervous for a long time, worried and considered myself an absolute loser. Even broke a couple of plates in the kitchen :(
But later I began to feel more relaxed. It was facilitated by Yoga to some extent. By the way, I highly recommend it. Before opening the order, I always adjust with the help of Yoga.

Emotions we can’t avoid at any places demo or live. But if we trade with emotions in real account it could be dangerous. That’s why it is more appropriate to use demo account before live trading to make sure how to manage emotions. On the other hand, the experience we acquired from demo not works in a live account. So, it’s really a complicated issue.

Newcomers always attacked by the emotion and fall a great trouble when trading practically. We cannot avoid greed and emotions. Because this is a part of common human nature but we can be discipline which can support us to control greed and emotions.

That's easier said in theory than done in practice, unfortunately. The road to disciplined, organized trading is long, difficult and few people reach the destination.

Most of them time newcomers attacked by the emotions and after having some losses they try to take revenge from here. As a result they lost their whole equity. For removing emotions and others worst activates they should be more disciplined on practice account. Otherwise they will not come out from current losses.

That's true, but how do you propose to gain such discipline?

Charles Duhigg has an interesting book called "The power of habit",having a plan for your trading day helps too, have a set time you start, take regular breaks,do you feel focused today, how many trades will I take today, what's my limit on losses, have a distraction while waiting on a setup, etc.

I've never heard of him, but this sounds like an interesting recommendation that I need to look into. Thanks for that.

The discipline comes with screen time and experience :)

That much is true. But surely there is a way to speed up the process? Exercises, meditation even?

Still sounds like it is better to let the EA do your job better than you.
