Hello,

I had a quick question if anyone can help that would be much appreciated.
I connected my MT4 demo account to myfxbook and it had bad trades before that wiped it out then got funded again and now increasing but on the main chart it's showing -99% and not going up.

when i checked the calculations for it it said

'Time-Weighted Return (TWR) that measures the performance of a dollar invested in the system since inception.
TWR measurement is required by the Global Investment Performance Standards published by the CFA Institute. Its distinguishing characteristic is that cash inflows, cash outflows and amounts invested over different time periods have no impact on the return.'

not sure what could be don't so that seeing improvement on the Gain chart calculations as well.

Thank you.

Hello,

I don't know what's wrong with myfxbook. They focus on 'Gains'... but the ratio you have to check out is the one below called 'Abs Gains' which is the real gains of the account according to me.

Also if you upload your account into ForexFactory, you will see that 'Gains' from there is equal to 'Abs gains' on myfxbook

Ps: On ForexFactory, there no difference on such ratio... there is only one called 'Gains'

Cheers
