Could someone enlighten me on why my MT4 is failing to connect to my yahoo.com mail for notifications?
It has worked before with the same smpt server settings: smtp.mail.yahoo.com:465
I will highly appreciate any guidance.

I've never faced such a problem myself before. Maybe you've set up your mail incorrectly somehow or made a mistake somewhere? It can happen to anyone. Maybe you should try to completely remove the previous mail settings and apply them again. Or try writing to tech support or broker or mail.
Check your firewall if not blocked SMTP ports.

MT4 sends e-mails sometimes with some nasty delay. Using mobile notifications (MT4 app) is faster and more reliable.
Thank you for the advice.
In this case, I use email because I receive hundreds of alerts and by email I am able to filter through auto-forwarding.
I have since resolved the issue by using a business email account.

I tried that many times. I think yahoo.com made some changes.

Could be a firewall issue.
