Dear Community,

I am playing around with the Myfxbook-XML-API and currently found out, that calls to the 'get_history' for an account only yield the last 50 trades.

Is this limitation made on purpose ? Is there a way to overcome this limitation or to get the finished trades from some point more ditant in the past ?

Regards

U

Hi,

You have to ask directly to https://www.myfxbook.com/members/Staff

However, I'm still interested in Outlook Community API into an EA or Indicator.

If you could provide it that would be awesome : )

Right now i am working with Objective-C for an app which will run on Mac OS or IOS.

Don't know whether a possibility exists to parse XML-files in MQL

So you would need some functionality to read the XML and create orders following the communities decision. Sounds interesting and should not be that hard.

Unfortunately I am not that familiar with MQL and as I work on a Mac there is no good opportunity to work with MQL there..

Yes, this is by design for 2 reasons:
1. Technology wise, to prevent users from overloading our servers (there are accounts with 5000 trades and more).
2. The API was meant to allow a quick view of the recent data only.
