The variation in results are mostly from how the RTP uses the Grid feature. Their grid function is not consistent with the values you insert within the EA parameters. https://www.myfxbook.com/community/trading-systems/rev-trader-pro-real/836868,110#?pt=2&p=109&ts=1094&o=836868 - If you enter 35 pips for the grid distance, orders still open before the 35 pip limit.
REP uses only 1 grid setting and it checks the OrderOpenPrice to compare when it is ok to insert another trade. Results from REP are better based on this short 1 year backtest using control points on EURUSD. I haven't optimized any setting and only used the setfile from RTP.
