We can sort performance by Currencies and other traded instruments with magic numbers, but we can not sort performance by the comment field.

This would be useful for EA developers and even manual traders as magic number capability is normally used for order functions, while the comment field is used to display what opened or closed the orders.

If we can sort the performance by comments, developers and EA purchaser's can pinpoint what logic is efficient without worrying about the magic number.

For example, the Forex Combo System has three different strategies within. The comment field is used to display what logic opened the order. The developer could have used the same Magic number for all the orders, or used 100 different magic numbers....

comments should be a part of the custom analysis function.

This can also be handy for manual traders that use different strategies.

A trader then can enter ' MA cross over' in the comment field and then ' RSI over bought' and after a few months sort their comments to compare what strategy worked the best in the last month.

What do you think?

We're already in the final testing phase of a new feature which addresses your request - it should be released next week 😄.
