I like MyFxBook, especially the open-ness, and how I can link both demo and real accounts, unlike Currensee. Can MyFxBook give each user the ability to create a single private chat room, where up to X (maybe 10-15) registered MyFxBook users can join (through an invite feature)? It can be limited to real accounts only, if bandwidth is an issue. I just want to create a virtual prop desk to collaborate and post trades to a small group of intraday traders, and don't want to jump through lots of hoops to set it up.

I don't think I clarified enough in the original post. Maybe the feature request should be more collaboration, or 'team trading' features, instead of just using various free IM software out there. Just like how Currensee has 'teams' built into their system.

How about starting off by creating an official MyFxBook room where all members can participate at 1 location? Such as Meebo or other free services / embeddable API's out there:
