Why not LIVE account?
For lack of clarity from my country's Central Bank on this issue. As of now, Indian Citizens cannot speculate in foreign exchange currencies.

I'm wondering how come you're professional day trader trading Commodities for a living and you don't have a real account. I think there's a little contradiction.
Regarding the fact that indian citizens cannot trade forex... it's true but it's also not 100% true because there are ways to do that if you use online operators like Liberty Reserve or PayPal to fund your account cause it's still untraceable.

I have a REAL account to trade commodities ! just that it is not in MT4 platform ! trading commodities through Indian Stock Exchange know as MCX. I'm sure you know that there are other stock exchanges in each country - there is one in mine too !!! for more information about Mcx you can visit their site www.mcxindia.com Why would there be any contradiction?

wrt to your point on ways to start live account, yes there is a workaround to opening a live account. I do not wish to take that headache.

And good luck with your trading.

Ben,

The regulations are for Indian Citizens against speculating in Foreign exchange. No one is stopping you from trading.

You are welcome to India and trade - as long as you have your laptop and broadband connection, you are good to go. No one is gonna bother.

Many Indian citizens too trade forex actively, but some like me are just a little cautious. There is lack of clarity from our Central bank - some say you can trade, some say you can't.
