hi there,
no, it cant be copied, and if i where you, i would not copy people that have not had good results for atleast half a year anyway...
there is alot of new 'gurus' loosing money as fast as they earned them in the first place :-)

hi there,
yes, i made a really bad call in june when the GBP/USD was crashing down,
this has come back to haunt me, and my channel i on the brinck of colapse.
this was a learning experience to me, and i now know that im not good enough at placing primers to run a channel my self.

so for my personal trading i have switched strategy to a system with less drawdown, and less open trades at any given time..
you can see it here --> https://www.myfxbook.com/members/ZeppDK/technical-analysis/626707

i have just started the same system at a PAMM account at hotforex, but it is so new that it has not build much stats yet :-)

So if we've to start our own channel, and we start with 10k instead of 2k .. do you think it can survive and we might not need primers?

if you run it like if you only had 2k you should be pretty safe, the problem with that is that you then also need more to earn more $ before increasing lot size (if you want to keep a big buffer)...
this means that it will take ALOT longer to build the channel... because if you have 8.000 in buffer when you run 0.01 lot, you would have to have 16.000 in buffer when running with 0.02 lots to have the same 'kind of' buffer... and let me tell you, it takes forever to earn 8.000 with 0.01 in lot size...

so i think you would be very old before being able to pull out some big amount of $$$ if you go for that aproach.
so in my opinion the only way to make a channel without primers is a multi pair channel where you do as G88 & greenzone, and only trade the pairs in the normal mid-range, and stop trading them if you come out of that range, this way you dont use alot of money to build a broad channel in one pair, and still have other pairs to build your account balance while a pair is on-hold

I don't get why i will need to earn more before increasing lot size. Because I will be running the channel just as it will be for 2k but the extra money will go for times when the channel will try to exceed it's range and can be used in those cases only. With this way I will be able to extend the channel range without worrying about primers etc. what do you say?

Every time you increase lot size you will have a bigger drawdown from each new trade, so if you have 8000 extra that will be a big buffer in the beginning When you Trade 0.01 lot, but if you trade 0.1 lot 8000$ is a very small buffer... Thats why the buffer needs to increase at the same time as the lot size

Firstly I won't be going from 0.01 to 0.1 lot directly, and if the channel is in balance i.e same units sell and buy, then I don't think the draw down will be an issue. Further once the realize equity has been increase as per the steps only then can we go to the next lot size. So the extra amount will be just there to make sure the increase in range bounndaries won't create any issues.

no, you dont go from 0.01 to 0.1 , it was just to try and get you to visualize why you need to increase your buffer to cover the same sized 'channel' once your lot size increase...
i dont know how i can visualize it for you then, but just say that once you see it on a running channel, you will know what i mean :-D

I think you are assuming that the channel will go out of range and then I will be needing more money to cover the drawdown?

yes, excactly... in my opinion you need to prepair for the worst-case scenario, because if you dont, you will be forced to use primers if the rate goes out of range at some point (like if/when the Financial crises stops, or gets even worse for that matter)
