I am holding a small long on bitcoin. i believe we will try to test the 100k level again by the close of the year. that's an extra few % to my deposit. fantastic. perfect month

on Saturday and Sunday bitcoin froze in place. there is no liquidity, everyone is preparing for the new year. but look at the technical picture, it is preparing to go down with a subsequent move up. for now I will consider this scenario for Monday

the market has opened after the new year holidays. i believe the us dollar will start a slight decline after strengthening last year. i also expect bitcoin to shed to the downside. there are a lot of cool ideas and i am already starting to work on them

The first days of the new year were very good. today is the 4th of January and I already have +7% on deposit and 2 completed Challenges for clients.

I wish you all a great trading week. I will not disclose all the details, but I plan to work out the idea on gold according to the following scenario. buy to the local high with a stop behind the local high. classic thehanalise. although this idea is confirmed by fundamental sentiment and additional indicators on my trading system.

I opened a short on bitcoin. i think sellers will try to break stops below 90k. this will bring me a nice profit to my deposit. i have some more ideas, but i will share them with you later on

Against the backdrop of a strong US labour market and inflation, which has stopped falling, the prices of long Treasuries have fallen back to 23-year lows, when there was no talk of a Fed rate cut. The rate was cut three times last year, by a cumulative one percentage point from 5.5% to 4.5%. But the prices of long government bonds have fallen again.
And here I would like to remind you what old Buffett did last year. He accumulated a record number of short (up to a year) Treasuries on his balance sheet in the amount of $234bn. In August I drew attention to this and made an assumption that Buffett is obviously afraid of a new rise in inflation, so he is avoiding long Treasuries.
What do we have six months later? Buffett is on the plus side, and long Treasuries fans are on the minus side again.
It is also worth recalling that Buffett in ‘24 actively got rid of Apple shares, in which he had almost 40% of his portfolio invested. Such actions on his part suggest that in ‘25 we will see these stocks, and probably the US indices in general, at lower levels than in recent months, when the SP500 is hovering around 6000 points.

Markets are in a wait-and-see mode for a key US inflation report, which could significantly affect expectations for the Fed's monetary policy. Weak data on manufacturing inflation (PPI) increased hopes for possible policy easing, but market participants are cautious ahead of the publication of consumer inflation (CPI).
