Weekly Update:

Still waiting for the GY to break a key area of support...mostly sideways action but trending down. The EY moved down sharply this week based on the fundamentals and breaking a key area of support. We also added a nice sell trade on the EY this week at 134.998.

System started the week with an open P/L that was slightly positive. And we ended the week with an open P/L up around 11%. The system closed the month of October up over 18% and up 22.5% YTD. We also track a demo account on myfxbook separately for more historical results and to show that the live account continues to mirror the demo account. Also, refer to our website for more information regarding demo vs live results under the performance tab at: www.dramrock.com.

We will see how the markets open on Sunday and whether there will be a significant gap opening before the markets find its rhythm and short term direction. I will be watching the spreads since they tend to be wide during the opening Sunday session. It should be an interesting start of the week.

The system continues to be bearish on the currency pairs the system trades and continues to wait for a key area of support to be taken out for the GY. The EY has settled around a key area of support that will need to be taken out if we are to see any follow through to the downside. Of course, this short term bias could change and the system will self-adjust if it detects a change in the short term trend.

Update:

The system closed out and took profits for both our pairs. The short-term direction has now changed, at least for now. The GY just had too much support around the 157.00 level and not enough momentum to break through this area. The EY trend and fundamentals are still bearish even though we are now long. This is why sometimes the system may be early in its initial entry, which is also one of the reasons why we scale into trades. And its also why we subscribe to and maintain the premise that its not good to try to pick the tops and bottoms and in the long term view let the price action and dynamic support and resistance areas guide us and take the emotion out of the equation…

November MTD demo and live accounts are up 13% and 12% respectively.

I encourage everyone who views my posts to add my MyFxBook accounts to your watch list to track the system’s performance. Those who do will receive a 15% discount on monthly or performance fees when they sign up.[/b]
