Update: Last week I finished optimizing one more cBot. Over the weekend, I stopped cTrader, installed Windows updated on VPS, restarted it, and installed back all the cBots (5 now) with new re-optimized parameters. Their parameters are always based on the last 2 year period.
Tonight one position was opened by one of the cBots. I closed it this morning manually with a profit.
A total of 6 cBots have been deployed now. All are running on the same timeframe (1 hour), but different currency pairs. So, I think I have diversified it well enough, but I will continue adding cBots. Of course, I have to adjust the volume which each of them trades.
6 cBots with 20% maximum drawndown (20% / 6 = 4.16% each).
Some cBots have been re-optimized from 1 h to 4 h time frames.
For the sake of further diversification, I have prepared 5 more cBots with an absolutely different (shorter time frame) strategies. Whey run now on a different live account, but I am thinking to combine then into one team on the same account. Each cBot shows maximum drawndown 4-6%.
I've moved all money from my other account (https://www.myfxbook.com/members/ironmine/dream-chaser/1392864) to this one as I don't need to have 2 accounts now. It's also easier to run one platform on VPS. Robots continue to be retested and improved as my knowledge about the techniques of algorithmic trading, backtesting and safety features grows. As of now, there are 15 cBots hunting high and low on different currency pairs and time charts.
