Hi folks,

Please feel free to comment. Also, how do I verify my trades with myfxbook?

Disregard which part - the greeting, or that you said feel free to comment, or the question about verification? 😁

Hi speki,

Sorry. I should have explained...I meant just to disregard the question about verification. I worked it through with staff. Please feel free to comment or start a discussion. Really enjoying this site! Are you using the LeoProTrader EA?

Alright, I was just joking. No, I don't have Leo but I'm following the developments here. Seems people have connection problems, missing trades on live accounts and someone said maybe it's just a trick to make FinFX known (they're a new broker as I understand).

We'll see. Good luck anyway.

Thanks speki and to you as well...:)

As for the connection issues they seem to have stabilized and as for the missing trades, yes that can happen but I just login to their live trading account once in a while to see what they're trading and I've manually added them and they've traded successfully. All things considered, coming from a totally manual trading experience this seems to work well for me.

So here it is Feb 23 and I've turned a $3K demo account into $5700 since Dec 22. Now I'm just scratching up some cash to fund a live account. That's the REAL test eh? I'm no longer using the ALPIRI-UK account since I trade all 4 currency pairs (GBP, EUR, JPY and CHF) within LeoPro.

Well, I pushed the envelop waaay too far in totally unchartered waters. Kept adding buy positions to currency pairs at record lows...JPY and CHF namely. Didn't have enough in my account to sustain the aggressive drawdown on March 16. Good data to study and form trading rules that will keep this from happening again. One lesson learned is to NEVER guess where the bottom of a pair is when it's at record lows...there is nothing to compare it to and it can always go lower than expected. Another lesson: NEVER leave yourself with less than 75% of margin available to handle drawdowns in volitile markets. Lastly, though I prefer technical analysis fundamentals ALWAYS trump technicals during natural disasters and world event shifts

I'll be setting up another demo account of $3000 to start again and will post here.

LeoTrader EA is suspect, not FinFX.

Agreed Jonny. But I still think if I make the settings less aggressive this little robot can grow an account....but we'll see.

Cheers,
