My Honest Opinion: This EA is based on a Trend Following strategy. You will get a lot of small losses, but only one trend makes you recover all the losses and still get a profit. So, to know if this is a good EA or not, you must be willing to use it in 6-12 months, at minimum. And in my opinion, it's a good expert, as you can see in backtest and forward test.

And remember: always trade small and use money management, as the EA does. Until now, i got losses, but i have patience to wait for a good trend and make profit. As i do money management and i have other EA's in my portfolio, those losses don't hurt me at all.

If you bought the EA and you don't know the strategy the expert uses, or you don't like the strategy , don't blame the EA... blame yourself.

I am also totally agree with your comment.
Can I ask what kind of money management do you use?
increases 0.05 for every $ 1000?
thanks

Leogio71, pretty much that way. I have my own money management system, but for Forex Growth Bot, for every $1000, increase 0.05. If you feel that is too much, decrease to 0.04 or 0.03 lots.

I'm sick with this bot. I got another -23 pips trade, which doesn't shows up here. Do i really have to jump to that abroad broker? Why the hell it does make difference, everybody must have the same prices .. wtf?

Thats's weird, because i have the same results as shown in FGB myfxbook page. Maybe could be your broker. I use Alpari UK.

Hmm, I will try to chop to alpari then. Honestly, I don't know why but i trust more alpari than ThinkForex. However, the trading frequency is very small last time :/

About once a week, I discover that FBG is not active due to license, so I have to open license manager and re activate
Is it normal?

I have bought it but (FBG advanced) but if I find an educated version, I will go for it!

'educated', it's a cracked or hacked version, a pirated copy!!

The last two times why you have to show to see out? Or that your no deal, we deal! Don't outside I suggest you to improve the, is to have to clinch a deal, our own manual liquidated, don't new warehouse. So our own risks can also control, and you in me after all unwind there will be something warehouse! The risk is more big!

So... What's everyone going to do here? This is a LOT of money to have out there over the weekend. I am a firm believer in not just leaving this bot alone and letting it do it's thing but if it opens down after the weekend we stand to lose quite a bit... Trying to get a bead on what everyone else's plans are.

I do agree with you I decided to close manually the trades. Maybe that a bad idea but I think that one weakness of FGB is GAP after week end. o i prefer to close it manually

That company allows several accounts for a single monthly payment or it is necessary a payment for every MT4 platform hosted there?

Erm, you can install as many MT4s as you want on a vps. But obviously depends on how much RAM you get. The more Ram, the more MT4s, I am on a 2gb and running about 8 MT4s no problem.

Lol, i disabled FGB after losses, then it recover (seems i'm brining unluck to everything i touch :p). However, the backtests with my broker results with +138 pips profit for last those days and previous month, while FGB (on thinkforex) has got in fact still loss.
Im confused, I'll better leave it as it is and let it work with my broker.

FGB is a good breakout system and built for the long haul, so you really need to have confidence in it during the up and down.
