I lost 10k on the fgb bot. it really is a vampire. Well, Thats btw
I ran into a post on another forum concerning a platform from "hedge-cloud trading". Anyone using it? Can't post any links here, nonetheless their webpage can be found by a simple google search.
1. I'm intrigued as to why you can't post links.
2. I'm intrigued to know how you know it can be found with a google search when you saw it on a forum.
Is this another one of those subtle adverts like the one we saw on here the other week?
FYI It's not my intentions to advertise any products here whatsoever. fxbook doesn't allow posting urls - thats why.

Hi Janeth
It would be good if you substantiate some of your claims please?
I am asking as newbie to the FGB and would like to get a clear picture of the bot (what was your money management strategy?).
Well, what can I say... Be careful with this bot. It'll probably make you sad twice as much as it'll make you smile. goodluck anyways
I've got to go cast my VOTE ...

Oh it's easy to lose money with FGB. If you started it on July 8th and left it running until August 3rd you would have had considerable losses. I would be more interested in what period it was run from. There are certainly people out there that have lost with FGB but it's generally down to
1) Not using default settings
2) Trying to manage orders themselves
3) Using a dodgy broker
4) Not monitoring for potential platform issues ( as FGB doesn't set a hard stop loss )
5) Not trading it long enough
I agree with that. People must know this EA has a trend following strategy. You will have many small losses until one (or many) big gains occours. And you must have discipline, long term view and a money management strategy to work with this EA. You must test this strategy before to see if fits to your trading style.
But one thing i realized is, no matter if you have the best EA is this world, people will always blame this, because THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO TRADE.

hmm... it seems this fgb (1.8) have better results when using H1 and 'smart exit' = false (the rest is default)
you guys try those in strategy tester and compare the result between M15 and H1 and you will exactly what i am to say here... 😎

Thanks Robert..
Time will tell.. but its a small start up just like the vendor's account..
I think FGB does reasonably well if you are watching the charts and close out for profit early rather than waiting for the bot to close for you and potentially lose out instead.
So as a set and forget type system, maybe not a good idea..
but as a system that starts you up on winning positions, then yes it seems pretty good. just don't be greedy and close early :)

Hi Guys, wondering if some can help, I have moved the growth bot over a VPS but since the move no orders have been sent out by the bot, any suggestions?
Also expert adviser is green with a smiley face on the right.

How long since you moved over to the VPS? Has the BOT posted here made trades since you moved it over that yours did not? Sometimes this bot goes days without making trades.

Do you have "FGB status ACTIVE" in the top left of the chart??
where it says internal and external?
If it says "Verifying" and never goes to "Active" contact support
Regards

Hey Robert
status is ACTIVE with , internal = 0.00, External = 0.00
Hey am1165
I checked against the providers bot on myfxbook and mine which is where I noted the difference. I tried a manual trade which got placed.
VPS provider suggested the DDL access on the firewall, which I have know actioned just need to wait and see when the bot makes another trade on myfxbook to see if mine bot does the same.

Also,
Are you using thinkforex? If so then you should be able to expect the same trades. I however am using a different broker, and my trades vary quite substantially from the one the bot makes here.
