when you are not sure with the current EA performance, you can shut it down for a moment, looking for a best moment to start it again. I have my own EA, that's why I understand that sometimes EA have a difficult time in a certain market condition. as for FGB, I decide to turn it off for the rest of the month since last week, and I'm glad that is the correct decision if I were to compare it with the current condition. but if the EA work well during my rest, that is my risk and I should have not regret it as I fully understand the consequences. I kept it in my mind and that is what make me still believe that this EA can still doing well in the future.
as for what I'm doing now, I try to optimize the FGB method by learning on the signal it use to enter the market. you see, the signal to trade always appear near the peak or bottom of a market movement, which mean, the risk of the reversal after entering the trade is quite big. I realize it for 2 weeks, and when I keep the EA open the position as usual, my analysis proved to be correct. I also analyze the signal by change it to different parameter and surprisingly, I found something quite interesting or maybe I can say a new potency of this EA. I've run it manually for this 1 week based on the signal given, and actually, it resulting in a good trade. why I say it like that? it because fear and greed still affect me alot during this trial which make the result for my personal trade is average low. but to see how the signal work, it should be ended in a hundred of pips, IF I can follow it just as it pop out.

Last 3 trades are 0.50 lots, very insane lotsize for current capital... Looks like want blow the account intentionally.

There are 2 possibilities:
1) The lot size was manually increased to recover the losses (vey bad decision)
2) The EA opened wrong lot size, this happened to a lot of users.

How does the Bot calculate the lot size?
Is it a risk % parameter based on account balance or hard coded within the Code with out extern parameters?
even a 0.09 lot for under $1000 capital is big for this style of trading. And .50 lots ? Wow.
Those last Long positions closed at Support before the trend continued upward =(

Supposedly is fixed lot size, no MM. But I have read in some cases the ea opened .50 lot size when the parameter is set to .10 in a 1k account, very erratic. here and donnaforex forum.

my guess on the .5 lot size is that it is still the error that was occurring with some users and keep in mind if you experienced this error it is best to uninstall whatever fgb is exposed to before installing the v1.5. The best thing I would recommend is dump mt4 along with old version of fgb and get a fresh copy and start over with everything. But if you know what your doing uninstall it and then delete any other files left over (I.E. set, mq4, dll, whatever else.).
I am using the signal service they offer with MM set to true and only risking 5% and I have not had any problems since I switched. Well outside of the losses that it is compounding as of recently but things like that happen in these market.
Only thing I wish would get figured out is the dang opening. The last 3 weeks that I have tracked the openings, on Thursdays and Fridays only, on this basis, the opening just in the right time for a reversal. Bad luck...it happens. Bad karma...sure. Not learning from past experiences...smack in face!

Guys... my refund request still not accepted yet. i request it May26, 2011 (about 5 days before 60 days). now, is May 31, which pass 612 days... hix, i can't get my money back.... !!

If your running the bot, I noticed I have had that issue since v1.3 It would open a trade and close it almost instantaneously. Dont know why but it seemed to happen semi consistently. I would normally only loose about 7 pips in total (including spread).
All 4 of those trades went for a win position, FINALLY!😁 The thing on my end that perplexes me is the signal service matches everything on here outside of that 4th trade. It wasn't listed. Might be a bit of a bandwidth glitch I have been having today. Its been up and down the last 4ish hours which encompassed the center start time of those trades.

I has been a rough ride this last month. The system I believe is sound but with the glitch that occurred with the lot sizes and the volatility factor around the euro lately its to be expected. Bots are going to have there ups and downs no matter what.
Only issue I see in the matter is the inconsistency that happens. For example. I had the 4 trades and others had 3. Though I use the signal service and not the bot. So that might have something to do with it. I was under the impression it was run by the bot and, then under the impression, it is closed by someone on the other side. On the other hand some things cant be perfect.

refund completed. although last minute i've got 3 closed trades, -15pips, +90pips, +8pips pending.

Currently my settings are:
InternalControl = true
ManualTradeControl = true
Today my copy of ForexGrowthBot go mad after closing the 4 BUYs 0.06 lots(as configured) BUYs. It opened a trade with 0.72 lots!!!

I am going to be short and blunt about this because i just posted this a few back. Others have said this as well.
Short and blunt version:
Dump everything! FGB and MT4. Anything your windows uninstaller does not get rid of, manually delete it. Then reinstall everything. If the problem persists then you did something wrong or they may have not gotten it ironed out. I am not having the problems anymore so I am forced to conclude that the problem is fixed.
