Yeah, but I hate when I goof up on the math. I've reloaded the charts with the correct settings. I cant do anything about EURJPY as it is on a sequence, and I still want to test for bugs.

More wins overnight. It is nice to be able to trade several pairs at once, but in doing so, the growth rate of the account will be much slower. 50:1 Leverage sucks.

Back testing is sooo much faster to get results.... waiting for a live account to trade is like waiting for a hot apple pie to cool enough for you to eat it... its agony!! lol

True, but it is easy to develop 'back test blinders' where you can psychologically begin to change settings to curve fit for a defined period. 😀

Our last trading pair for this week just closed order3 in loss. Now we have to wait for a breach of an entry point for order4. Another fine example of why you must wait for the alligator to be sleeping prior to loading on a chart.

I am adding a new exit point to the EA. It will begin tracking PSAR after it reaches its trailing stop starting point in order to gain a few more pips in profit.

We will see what happens on Sunday (US Time) when ASIA opens. My only worry with being at this stage would be a huge gap which might prevent us from entering the 4th trade. If a gap occurs, I may just close the EA with a loss and start next week fresh.

Yep! Love watching it trade. Are you still going to limit it to 4 levels or expand it to the magic of 7?

A 4 trade sequence is the magic. Multiplying by a factor of 2 each time, more than 4 and the Risk/Reward ratio begins to fail based on current settings. That being said, once the PSAR is added, that could make a huge difference in the profit.

In backtest, 94 sessions out of 100 closed in a profitable series within the first 4 trades. So, for now, I will stick with 4 and use the Alligator and Gator indicators to gauge entries prior to the Asia open each day.

Psar, is sometimes slow... esp if used to close a live trade.( just my experience) Maybe if it was used with a breakeven setup, it could be very good.

True enough, but it takes 3-4 candles on most indicators to show a reversal. It would only be used on large breakouts as the TS will still be in play at the same time.

Plus, the human mind still can be the best indicator. On a 30m chart, I can always close an order manually if the conditions are right, make my money and await the next setup.

*************NEW VERSION ALERT***********

Moving forward on this thread I am using version 2.2 of FX Rogue Wave. This should be the last testing update prior to production. It is the same as 2.1, but I have added the PSAR inidcator to close us out of a runaway trade when the trailing stop beginning point has been reached. As this is sunday, I am still in the EURUSD trade from 2.1 which I will close out when the market opens.

Also, I will only be loading FX Rogue Wave on proper Bill Williams Alligator setups.

Here is an example of what I am looking for a proper setup.

We see a tight support/resistance channel prior to the ASIA market open. We see the Bill Williams indicator lines intertwined. And as a final confirmation, we see the Gator indicator within its channel. Unless there is a gap at market open, I will load FX Rogue Wave prior to the ASIA market open.

Time to go hunting with the Alligator! 😇

Now we have market open - there was a large gap on the EURUSD which hopped right over our entry point for order4 in sequence. Now that we have the new version, I will shut down the EA on that pair and start fresh with the new version on other pairs with the proper conditions.

The AUDUSD trade on Order1 closed at SL. Now we wait for the next breach of an entry point to open Order2
