Mark,

This appears to be a demo account, do you have one running on a real account?

why you verify a demo account and the 'real'one is not verified ... very funny ;-)

I found very interesting post in one of the forums about this losing trade:
<quote>
I see in this statement.
a wrong lotsize setting. As you can see, they use 0.6 lotsize for 5k account and this is the reason why they get such results. I asked Mark about it and he approved my guess. For 5k account you should use 0.5 lotsize and not more, because if you set wrong lotsize it can stopped work of filters of volatility. This happened with the statement of bestforexrobots guys.

On the forexpeacearmy gps robot have good results:
https://www.forexpeacearmy.com/metatrader_expert_advisor/gps_forex_robot/demo

Moreover as u can see on my account with the investor access, I have stable results with the fixed lotsize value:

Name : GPS Forex Robot Fxcbs
Login : 337205
Investor : dc4lwvy (read only password)

I don't understand why this guys with the bad statement did it, but as u can see, information about wrong settings it's true. Use only recommended settings like me, forexpeacearmy guys, bcfc1976 and many others and all will be great.

Just curious, did anybody see a GPS trade that was placed on 1/19 that was still open over the weekend and now it's not there?

In other words, if there was a trade that was placed on 1/19 that was still open over the weekend, shouldn't there be a trade with an Open Date of 1/19 and a Close Date of today 1/24?

Thanks.

Mike

Mark,

1) Is your FXOpen demo account that is running GPS an ECN account?

2) I wonder why on the following demo https://www.myfxbook.com/members/ForexPro/gps/76458 had two losses back to back on 1/12 and 1/13 and your demo doesn't have them? The loss trade consists of -87.2 pips on 1/12/11 and the other one on the next day 1/13/11 for -172 pips?

3) The above losses that are in the above ForexPro demo IamFX account are not on Anthony's Live Account that started with $8,000 deposit and are also not on this account as well at https://www.myfxbook.com/secure/statements/63513/statement.html ?

4) Just curious, how could there be a stop loss of -172 if the GPS Robot has a -88 pip stop loss?

5) I wonder why on Anthony's account that he deposited $8,000 started out placing a SL and TP but as of 11.29.2010 it stopped placing a SL and a TP?

6) And also on this account https://www.myfxbook.com/secure/statements/63513/statement.html Account Number: 300301 (Real Money) Broker: IamFX it started out having a SL and TP placed but as of 2010.11.23 it stopped placing a SL and TP as well?

Thanks for your help.

Mike and FapTurbo team were hardly promoting IamFX. There is an option where the statements could be manipulated for the right person.
