Do you have testing for this new strategy you can make public here?
I assume it's not ORCA you're referring to, correct?

Dear HAMSTER TURBO subscibers, we've just closed our first group of orders at a 4% basket combined profit. You had the chance to see this new strategy in action, in order to understand how it works. The average profit/loss per trade was about 16 pips, so slippage will not be so much of a problem. I have updated the signal's description accordingly, to reflect the recent changes and the way this new strategy performs.

No, its not ORCA, its a new multi currency trend following strategy, with a basket trailing profit function and a fixed 2% Virtual Stop Loss in every order.

ok, you said in your post about it you have done extensive testing.
Can you make that test account public here so we can see it?

I cannot present backtests, since this is a multi currency strategy and profit closes over a basket trailing function over all open positions. I've tested over various live accounts, so you will have to be patient and see it in live trading.

ok, I was thinking you might have a forward test account on here for it that you just hadn't made public.
So what's your long term plan, get HT back to break even then open a new signal?
Are you going to add this new system as it's own thing now on MQL5 so there's a version with clean history of just this method?

2 months in a row loss. Maybe you should test back your system with quality data with at least 5 years history.

Hello Loui, The new strategy is a multi currency trend following system, that has a virtual 2% SL in every trade and a basket trailing profit function in order to close combined profit of all open orders. It looks like a grid, because it opens many positions on each currency and often opposite orders (hedging), but its not, because it follows the trend and when the trend changes, the system opens new orders on the other direction. The fact that the average profit in pips is about 10-20, the strategy is not very slippage and spread sensitive, but it worth having a look on my suggestion setups in order to enjoy best results. I can't present any backtests, since its a multi currency system with basket profit taking and this is impossible to test. I've traded though in various lives accounts for some months, perfecting the settings and make sure it persists tough market conditions. I will introduce this strategy as a new signal at the beginning of May. You can read more in the signal's description:

This is my own strategy and custom EA as all the others I use, except the Hamster signals, that were based on the Hamster Scalping EA.

HAMSTER TURBO must be abandoned or radically modified.
EA hamster can be used as an entry-level price, if the price goes back averaging initial trade at variable price levels until returns to established profit.

Back-tests don't prove anything.

Forward testing on a real account for at least 3 years may get you closer to a solid system.

Anybody that jumps into the big fat numbers hype of a new account with just a few months of history is doomed to fail.

Unfortunately, like they won't learn with the facts, instead, they will jump into another one again not realizing the end is so

obviously close.

The trend reversed suddenly and the system closed some positions at 2% loss each. Then closed the remaining open positions at 3% basket profit. We will resume trading on Monday, because its the FOMC meeting tomorrow and the NFP report on Friday.

There is no perfect system or a strategy that doesn't lose. The important thing is to control losses and to make sure that profits are always more on a certain period. Recent history made perfectly clear that strategies with very bad risk/reward ratios are not suitable for the long term and especially for this kind of market.

I think you are overtrading your account because your monthly equity swings are greater than 20% (actually it is more than 90%). You may have a profitable strategy without any max drawdown control.
