Janus2010 is a smart Martingale system. You don't need to be afraid of Martingale. What is the main reason Martingale EAs finally blow out accounts? The answer is simple - reinvestment and greediness. Follow two simple rules - never reinvest your profit gained by Martingale EA and withdraw it from time to time, thus you can return your initial deposit 4-5 times before the EA will blow out. Janus2010 is for sale, please contact for details.

Why should someone buy your Marty when you predict it will blow out the buyers account some day?????

I do not predict it will blow out, I warn that this may happen if the user is too greedy and explain how to avoid it. By the way, most of non-marty EAs have the same chances to blow out, haven't they?

I attach herewith a backtest report for 6 months, for this time initial deposit was returned 6 times, if the trader withdraw it every month.

Hi, I'm interested in your EA

Can you answer these questions?

does the EA ever take a loss or does it martingale till blow out ?
what is the next position size after 5.1 lots or how many negative pips can the 10K account survive before it's blown out ?
eg: if some unexpected news comes out and the market goes X pips without looking back ...

I understand the EA is not supposed to be active on major news days like NFP ?

1. The EA never takes a loss, the trader has to decide on his own, whether he is willing to wait until market turns to his side, or he wants to reset the trade.
2. With the present settings 5.1 lots is the maximum. It comes from variable MaxOrders. If the trader sets it to more than 5 (not recommended), 6th order may be more than 10 lots (also depends from other variables).
3. With MaxOrders=5 and account of 10K the market may go not more than 100 pips to the 'wrong' side, but settings you can see on monitored account are for initial deposit 25K (or $250 if account type is Cents or Micro). In this case the price may go more than 250 pips against you.
4. The EA works very good on news. The only thing that can blow our the account is a long steady movement without rollbacks.

post a full 10 year backtest on a 2500 $ acc. w/o blow out the acc. and you'll get more buyers than u need...😀

BTW, ALL my EAs are 10 backtested. Only then they go to demo forward and after that going live. And I don't agree with your strategy to take out the profit on a regular basis. With a safely adjusted Marty you ride even more safe the more the equity grows. Take out profit is done by people which already know their system will blow out on a certain point...

ok, I analyzed your system's trade history and here are the things I don't like about your strategy:

1) it starts the whole sequence randomly ... right when you turn on the EA ...
you can see that you funded the account at the same time that the EA placed the first sequence ...

2) if the (1) is not bad enough ... you place martingale trades according to a primitive formula ... which doesn't change during market conditions

3) your last trade is always -160 pips from 1st entry ... at that point assuming your lot sequence the account is already
at -4624 and you placed 10.3 standard lots ...

assuming a flat 500:1 account ($200 per standard lot it's already locking $2060 in marigin)

so with your $25000 you have -2060-4624=18316 left for _THE_END_ which at 10.3 lots you'll get in additional ~177 pips (at $103/pip)

so a straight move of 337 pips is _THE_END_

if some newbe runs the EA on a 100:1 account then 10.3 lots will lock $10300 which then the EA makes the collapse after ~257 pips.

and since you've been running on GBPUSD ... just on March 1st there was a move of 360+ that if you got unlucky to start your sequence around the 'launching' price would evaporate the account ...

I think you should work on making this system safer...

Would this EA run for 10 years its cost should be not $99 but at least $9999, don't you agree?

Come on... You put a bucket of shit on my EA, but what do you offer? Your starting balance is 200K, you closed even trades history, where is 10 years backtest? If you are selling the same shit as the others, why do you make dirty moves? Do you want I spill the shit on your EA?

man I meant only positive criticizm ... just a quick adjustment to your strategy would be only opening the sequence in the direction of some major EMA/SMA ... maybe changing your fixed steps to ATR based or previous days range or whetever else...

just implementing these two steps would insure a better survival since usually the currencies do not collapse against their major trend ... usually there's fighting which gives you better chances of closing the sequence

you should not sell the EA that can blow the account just the day before you started your demo forward test... that's just my opinion though

I see you stopped the 'Buys' sequences on the cable ... does it mean now you're only going in one direction according to some EMA/SMA ? Does it work better when backtested ?

It is backtested. According to backtest the best number of trades in one direction is 5. As this number is already reached for long trades the EA won't open new ones.

so basically what you said is that because you have the open trades disabled ... I can't see that there is a 5 step sequence of BUYs open and underwater ... that's a bad news for the EA since if the down trend sustains it'll blow in a next few days ...

99% of EAs finally blow... It is possible that this EA also blow everything sometime. But look at the figures. Would this account be live and the trader always withdraw the profit he has by now already returned his initial depo plus 2.5K.

Very wise! Look at the equity and at the profit. For example, if I decide to stop right now, I can withdraw 40K, what is initial depo + 15K of net profit. Do you think it's too bad for one month?
