Thats a bit dumb. He should have built in a BreakEven SL. I have it on mine. With an average of 40 pips win, the guy goes up 35 pips and let it revert 55? really?

Im sure such break even feature would end in worse overall performance. Trades need space to breath sometimes

Ive tested it with many different parameters and I dont see it that way. But sure it needs room to breath, however you have to consider how have the pair behaved in the last X trades.

Now tell me. What is the average gain for the EURUSD, considering the last 6 months of trading? You really think after moving up 35 pips, its not a time to add a BE?

Check the attached BT on my EA that follows a similar logic as this one! With and withtout BE.

Ps. I only have 1 trade per signal in this testing.

In my view, a BE can be a good thing, you really have analyze what is the strategy you are using.

In this EA with the logic I coded and tested, seems to me that some BE can help!

You have to know what value to use, otherwise, like you said, you will not let the pair breath!

Cheers,
Vlad

I cant judge about your system and how good or bad a break even feature will be, I would have to test it by myself. But this is another topic.

On KP we would have been stopped out by break even countless times, just to see the price heading towards the take profit target after being out of the race.

which BE level are you using?
Did you count the other way around how many SL you reached after a good profit by not having any kind of BE?

But you are right I have not bought this EA,or gone over all of its trade, just tried to follow what I see in the trade list here in myfxbook.

I think its time to stop using it all together. starting out The developer traded manually to beef up the results & now the market volatility has picked up drastically throwing this unadaptable strategy out of the window. Clearly the developer doesnt give a toss about this thread or the product otherwise he would have made an effort at least to listen to his dumb customers & improve on the EA.

Forget it you will lose your shirt if you continue down this path. Find something else to trade with & forget Jared's promise to your financial freedom its a sales gimmick.

You make this EA so important with such a huge thread when its absolutely crap even an elementary math student can do better

I tend to agree, the thread is huge lots of it which came from me ;) I do like the strategy per se.

But I also agree that the logic is quite simple, you could manually trade it.

Then do that manually trade it. The creator collected what he could & if you did not get a refund in time u lost $500 opn something totally worthless.
