Hello,

This system looks optimised for the last few years only. It will be interesting to see back tests of more than a decade with the well known ducascopy data set and a comparison with different data from other brokers to get an idea of the variation between different well known brokers data sets. This way we could get an insight of expectations and risks about broker dependencies.

Regards

EA wasn't optimized at all. It was written for the real market. but not as optimization process. Tests for stories aren't true. There is no automatic transition winter - summer in settings.
Any backtests for any year will show nothing useful. This system not GRAAL for backtests

I believe in usage tests over back tests any day.
As far as I am concerned this is a proved product.

Cheers

I have looked at my trade history and I am just not seeing this pattern you keep referring to.

My trades were not 12 pips apart.

Can you please explain how you came to conclusion the EA is placing trades 12 pips apart?

BTW I only included a sample of the history, the history of my full account is view-able.
Again I do not see this 12 pip pattern you are saying the EA uses.

The four trades here took four days to place, 12th 16th 17th 18th.

How can that be if the EA is using some grid pattern 12 pips apart.

I think you are mistaken.

Okay trying to sift through that trading history is just not going to happen.

Yeesh, thats crazy. Is there no way to isolate all the trades from Lion?

BTW Alex ha said very clearly that the EA does not work on any other pair, its for EUR/USD.

Why are you using it on other pairs?

In the first screen shot, it shows that the trades are set twelve pips apart but I can't see what actually placed the trades.
It only shows trades set twelve pips apart.

That is very strange because it has never does this to me and my history is there for all to see.

What are the settings you are using?

Correction:

1.07329 / 1.07501 (18 pips)

1.07688 / 1.07329 (36 pips)

1.07571 / 1.07688 (11 pips)

1.07455 / 1.07571 (12 pips)

Should be:

1.07329 / 1.07501 (18 pips)

1.07571 / 1.07329 (25 pips)

1.07688 / 1.07571 (11 pips)

1.07455 / 1.07688 (23 pips)

I mistakenly switched these two numbers {1.07688 & 1.07571 }, I have set them correct and yet the "12 pip grid" theory is still shot.

May the pips be with you.

I do not represent Lion FX in ANY way.

I just don't like being called names.

Dear all,

I confess I am worried the way this EA is behaving with me. I started trading with this EA in the beggining of February. Since then I took 17 of the 18 trades MyFXbook registered.

The problem is the difference in pips.

I trade with Activtrades with no commission and with a EURUSD spread of 0.5.

Parameters:

15 Min timeframe
Movperiod 90
Slow ema period 36
Signal period 55

These are the trades I made In February comparing with trades in MyFxbook

This difference might kill the performance of this EA. What is happening with my performance? Can anybody in this forum help me try to understand why there is such a big difference? Is it worth trading this EA with this difference? In one week, the difference is 62 pips!!!

Date My trade (Pips) MyFXbook (Pips) Difference
1-Feb 9 6.4 2.6
1-Feb -27 -27 0
2-Feb -3 3.3 -6.3
2-Feb 22 27.3 -5.3

The only advice I can give is make your myfxbook trade history public so we can all see it.
As far as settings go, E-mail Alex, he is really great for getting back to his customer fast and very helpful.

Hi,

check what is the server delay, perhaps the difference is caused by slow execution (from your mt4 to trading server)
