Sorry to use such a strong words. But Smithfx is just stupid.
More experienced users protect their setups (broker+vps, not settings).
Smithfx decided to disclose his and he will very soon pay for this.
This account will soon be over.
He did not listen to others and will learn the hard way.

that is the truth! he's falling victim to his ignorance!i am sure universal fx became flooded with MDP users after exposing this account to several users on diff forums and look the slippage and losses he's suffering lately!
how sad watching this account spiral downwards!

it's not that bad
mdp just behaves really bad lately and I think universalfx has more users than when smithfx started and they are fighting for the same liquidity

Smith Fx may be a genius. I noticed he flooded all the forums with his settings on around the same day. Doa google search.
He may work for Universal. Unfortunately I lapped it up and went for Universal now I am paying big time.
Make me an idiot for sure, but not sure about Smith FX !!

Yes I suspect it too that he is somehow connected with UniversalFx, noone who is sane would do what he did with flooding forums with the broker he uses and the settings he uses, that is just insane :)

Actually I was with universalfx before him, but after I saw what he did - I even pm him to stop posting this shit - I had to move out from them as I knew what will soon happen or already happend.

the only way to make profits in the long run with mdp is having your own brokerage company and using mdp in one

account😁

because what is happening with universalfx did happened before with hotforex, finfx, fxdd and many others brokers 😎

And it will happen for the next new low spreads brokerage company😞

as I said mdp needs a very unique broker where you are the only trader who runs mdp😉

so mdp is not belonging to the real world of forex:(

all the best luck to all struggling traders in the sharks market 😄

What are you all talking about? Don't talk bullshit... The last week was hard, huge drawdown and a bit slippage too, maybe it was a mistake to post the broker.. but it is how it is!

I have seen that the modified version makes much more trades and other entrys. So i have now connected both the modified and v1.2 to this account. If v1.2 MDP makes more losses and my version will win then i will stop trading with v1.2 . We will see in the next weeks!

i had long advised you to trade the modified version live rather than waste any time with demo.if your broker doesnt let it work good you look for another one.

SmithFx,

If you do not really work for Universal then get out of there seriously. You are no longer going to make money with universal.

I have near identical trades to you at universal and I am down $2000 dollars (40%) in the last 2 weeks. I run idenitcal mirrors at two other brokers and have made a small ammount of money in the same period. Before you posted the settings Universal was out performing other brokers. It seems weird that one persons actions can effect a broker that much but I think it has. Why did you post you setting in so many forums. Brit's, here, Donna, and some others !!

Now the slippage at Universal is the worst I have ever seen. Don't kid yourself.

Hi there BlackForestfx,

Just because Universal is domiciled in the BVI doesn't automatically determine its a scam, and I thought I read that they were regulated via the Swiss (not sure, but maybe someone can confirm this for me).

The BVI is a very popular asset protection haven for the rich, it's well known. I do some business via the Seychelles myself, because of the advantages that offshore jurisdictions provide for business owners, particulary in FX and anything investment related.

However, offshore juridictions are not for the unitiated, as there is no investors protection mechanisims, basically if the broker wants to walk with your money, they can, and there's very little you can do about it. I've seen it happen more than once... Thats my 20 cents worth as a keen student of offshore and as a former professional intermediary for a lawyer doing OS incorps out of the Seychelles.

To Mr Smith himself:

Ive designed a very adjustable/tuneable MDP style entry inspired Ea of otherwise my own design and today its up care of some trades on the EURJPY and USDJPY (it trades 7 pairs in fact) on a real money account at another broker (not my main broker). Strangely, no trades taken at my main broker on the demo, but here it is for your review .

I am wondering if you'd like to setup small test account to test it on the Universal feed, you could be scoring some good MDP like pips on other pairs and achieve a more consistent performance/smother equity curve. For me I just want to know how Universal compares on the slippage front.

If anyone else is reading this and would like to take me up the offer Mr Smith has first right of refusal - but I require just 1 Universal account holder to be willing to participate (on a first come first served basis) and this EA is not otherwise slated for a mass commercial release. ie you'll be one of a handful of folks to have this code.

Cheers, Adam :)

Not sure how you trade MDP on Universal but my short experience was a lot of slippage, more significant than most other brokers, so I finished that testing rather fast.
